This review is from: FREMO P52 5200mAh Power Bank External Battery Charger for iPhone, iPad Air, mini, Galaxy S5, S4, Note, Galaxy Tab, Nexus, HTC One, One 2 (M8), PS Vita and other Smartphones and Tablets (made by SCUD)
Great little power bank thats useful if you go extended periods of time without access to an outlet.
-5200mah battery. (not the biggest but big enough)
-Samsung battery cells(i'm no electrician, but samsung tends to make some premium products.)
-pretty much compatible with any device
-LED lights(annoying to have sometimes but worth it to have)
-charges devices pretty fast
Aluminum housing not flush with the top and bottom panels. Doesn't effect performance or use of device but it just does not look good.
The LED's never stop! Pushing the power button does 2 things,
if your device is attached to a tablet and you push the power button it starts to charge whatever is plugged in. Cool.
But if you push the power button when nothing is plugged in the LED status lights constantly light up for what seems to be like a solid 5 minutes of blinking with no way to stop. Plugging it in to charge keeps the lights on as well until it's charged.
Takes awhile to charge the bank up. 3 hours on a wall charger and 4 and a half on usb off my computer.
Overall this thing is pretty handy to have, but then again, aren't any old power banks?
The aluminum housing reminds me of the old ipod nanos, just thicker. Has the same feel to them.
5200mah is not a ton, but it's enough to charge your device at least once, twice if you don't have a big battery in whatever it is you're charging. My hp slate 7 extreme tablet can be charged twice before draining the battery twice and my samsung galaxy s2 can be charged one and a half times before draining the battery.
