Great card but hdmi fails to work 08/05/2014
This review is from: SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 7950 3GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 CrossFireX Support Video Card 100352-2L
Pros:
Great card, can run almost any game I throw at it at max specs.
Cons:
Can handle most games but it makes JC2 ctd every time after a few minutes of playing it. I've confirmed this with multiple fresh installs of the game and even re-inserting my older radeon hd 5850 which can play it without it crashing to desktop.
HDMI does not work at all with it leading to a single monitor/display device. It worked fine with my monitor/tv setup when I had them both hooked up but the very next day I turn the system on, it craps out on me; no more dual monitor using hdmi. Furthermore, it only outputs from the dvi output.
Overall Review:
Pretty solid performance & stability, still confused on why it crapped out the next day like that with HDMI. Other than that, it still crashes Just Cause 2... and this is after fresh installs of the game. Even resorted to fresh installs of the OS on 6 seperate occasions hoping that it would just maybe help to fix the issue but no luck.
