Works Well 08/21/2014
This review is from: Tape to PC Super USB Cassette-to-MP3 Converter Capture
Pros:
Small, compact. The primary connection, the USB cable, acts both to power the device and to transmit the sound. Includes the open-source Audacity software, but you can also use Nero or any other recording software.
Has a nice feature that lets you change the direction of the tape play by pushing a button, so no need to take the tape out and turn it around. You can also move a switch to have it automatically play the other side once it reaches the end of the first side. Nice!
Cons:
You have to play around with the USB cable to find the optimal position of the device, otherwise you will hear a loud hum on the line. If you stretch it out the hum mostly goes away.
Overall Review:
Pretty good value, but all this is is a tape player with free, open-source recording software. Still, it gets the job done
