iRULU Walknbook 10.1 Inch PC, 32GB Hybrid Laptop, 2-In-1 Tablet, Microsoft Windows 10 OS, Quad Core, IPS Display, Detachable Keyboard With Stand (Green)
  • Intel Baytrail-T 1.33~1.83ghz
  • 2GB RAM 32GB Flash
  • Intel HD Graphic (Gen7)
  • 1280 x 800
  • Windows 10 OS,10.1" IPS Touch Screen

Pros:

Its small, and for what it is, its fast. It seems great for editing papers if you are a college student on a low budget.

It has other potential which Im trying to figure out, like a 3rd periphery device for my flight simulator setup like a touchscreen device combined with Touch Buddy or Helios. Havent attempted it yet, not sure if it can be done either. If I follow that path I will report back. Otherwise...

Cons:

First, it came with Windows 8.1. I installed the start shell to get the start menu back. A windows update deleted this, and Im already ready to throw this thing in the trash. On that same note, cant install or upgrade to Windows X. No drivers.

Second, the O/S is 32 bit. This really limits the kind of applications you can use now, as more and more software companies have switched over to 64 bits. Granted this thing doesnt come with a large amount of memory, but 32 bit is too clunky. Also poses a security risk as well. Good luck trying to get WaterFox installed, else you are stuck with Firefox.

Third, it has a camera. Why this thing needs a camera is beyond me, but in todays world where everyone has to have a camera on everything, I guess it means it has a purpose...not like your phone already has one, your MP3 might already have one....and this doesnt even work that well with a phone. I use a magic jack, so it could work...

Forth, the stand is an origami design, also used as a cover/protector. Its flimsy, but it hasnt given me any grief yet.

Finally, fifth, it doesnt have much periphery support. The keyboard is pretty small and fairly flimsy. The touch screen doesnt seem overly accurate, and ditto goes for the mouse pad. With only one USB port, you will need a hub if you want to use a better mouse or keyboard.

Not really something you can upgrade even if you really wanted to.

Overall Review:

It is what it is - a really fancy camera with a keyboard and touchscreen, and Microsoft Office, which is only good for 1 year. I would recommend a better Office Suite that is free like Open Office. Guess you can put a larger SSD instead of the 32gb that came with it, but why bother? All you can do with it is take pictures and write term papers awkwardly.
