Magnificent Hardware 03/23/2006
This review is from: ASRock 939NF4G-SATA2 939 NVIDIA GeForce 6100 Micro ATX AMD Motherboard
My X2 4200 has found a home. This MB replaced the overHYPED DFI RS482 which disappointed me with intermittent monitor blinking, and it only gave me 3.4GB of my 4GB ram to the system. One spectacular advantage of the Asrock is the "Memory Hole" bios option, it gives me the full 4GB of Corsair XMS DDR400 to the system (none swallowed up by hardware resources). The overclock options & onboard audio are adequate. I'm running the X2 4200 @ 2530 stable on stock voltages for RAM & CPU (230 FSB). I'm totally satisfied with this piece of equipment, my first Asrock board fully impressed me.
Not one con, The price is unbeatable for this level of stability and quality. I have not tried the onboard video, but the manual says that it can be used in addition to a pcie videocard.
