Rating + 1 Intentionally negligent

I purchased a 500 dollar computer from them abdominal spent an extra 25 dollars on 2 day shipping and they shipped it regular business class 3-5 day and when new egg contacted them about it they refused to rewind my shipping. I would think that with a big ticket item like this the customer deserves a little more respect than that.

Rating + 2 "REFURBISHED" toshiba chromebook 2 = BIG MISTAKE = NEXT TIME ONLY BUY "NEW"

"REFURBISHED" Toshiba Chromebook 2 = defective battery and screen and despite two seller assurances no backlit keyboard - plus month long hassle of return shipping and doing everything perfect to get refund. NEVER AGAIN. lesson learned. just buy new. so did buy new asus-flip from newegg and all was fully kosher.

Overall good, only complaint was the packaging was poorly done. They threw it in an bare envelope which was crammed in my mailbox. It caused the casing to become distorted and have permanent creases from the pressure being forced against it and It probably didn't help that it had no protection from shipping in general. It was essentially equivalent to being shipped in a thin paper bag with a label stuck on it. Horrible packaging craftsmanship? If that is a real term, then theses guys did it perfectly. I hope they never get a job as a grocery bagger, they would put the eggs at the bottom with the milk setting on top or worse cram your fresh loaf of bread into the bottom and put your can goods on top making for a nice mushed up surprised when you got home to unpack. Am@z0n always does a good job with their packaging. I bet that's part of the reason why they are so successful.

amazing how many people have this problem and they havent fixed the issue with bad tracking number, i guess it wont matter as long as it shows up on time. will update on if it does or not, also quantum please fix this issue hate to see you lose sales over something as small as a problem like this.

Rating + 1 Bad tracking number

So....... So far my item has been shipped BUT I can't track it because the tracking number is not correct, I've emailed the seller and NOTHING.... so I have no clue if I'll get my item. I'll update if I ever get it if not that $55 I lost and never get back, because so far Quantum-Wireless customer service stinks.....

Rating + 1 Never shipped/Bogus Tracking Number

Drive says it shipped, however, the tracking # does not exist and the drive is now 2 weeks in limbo. I submitted a support ticket to new egg with ZERO response.

would give less than one star, if possible. i wanted to return an item. the box is still sitting here, completely unopened, but they never replied to the request i submitted through newegg. at the very least, they could have replied to say no. it would be a terrible return policy, but at least they would have some sort of customer service. i didn't realize newegg sold through third parties until i tried to return this item. if i had known, i wouldn't have bought it. i would have found the same item sold by newegg. a couple of dollars more isn't a big deal for a decent return policy and good customer service.

    Returns for Sealed & Unused Merchandise - Is allowed within 20 days of delivery. Please email us at to request an RMA - Return Merchandise Authorization. Shipping and handling fees are the costs of us sending the product to you and will not be refunded. Per Newegg’s policy, return postage is on the buyer.     Returns must include the original packaging and included accessories (i.e. Manuals, warranty, security seal etc.). Do not write or paste anything on manufacturers packaging. Place return in another carton for shipping so that it arrives safely. If your item is missing any of the above, please do not return it.

    Refunds, regardless of the nature, are usually processed within 7-14 business days. If the allotted time has already passed and you have still not been refunded in any way please contact us. The same applies to exchanges.

Return Instruction
    1. Log onto your account and find your order in order history, click on 'Request RMA from Seller' Button next to the order information.
    2. On 'Compose Message Page', verify the order number you want to request return on the top of the page, choose 'RMA Inquiry' from the drop down menu, provide the item# (you can find on your order invoice e-mail) and the reason you want to return, and indicate you want to return for replacement or refund before click 'send message' button.
    3. Once our Customer Service Representatives receive your inquiry, it will take us 24 - 48 hours to respond to your inquiry.
    4. Once our Customer Service has verified your order information and approved for you to send the merchandise back to us, you will be provided with Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number for your return through e-mail. The e-mail contains RMA number, RMA details and important return shipping instruction. Read the instruction carefully before you ship your return merchandise back to us.
    5. We strongly recommend you return your item in the same or similar packaging as they were delivered to you with all the original parts, accessories and menu/documentation included (any missing parts or accessories may result your return being rejected or your refund/replacement being delayed). Re-using the package your item came in is acceptable, as long as the packaging is in good condition and all previous addresses, tracking information and labels are removed.
