Our shop opened as a tiny hole with one counter run by skateboarders in 1976, so we have a wealth of knowledge about not only the skateboards, but the skateboard industry as well. The men and women working at Skates on Haight have been skating and selling skateboards for 33 years. Our skater employees know how our products perform because we use them, not just read about them in manufacturers' brochures. We sell what we skate.

Rating + 4 Not what I ordered, but satisfied.

This was my first time ordering from the Newegg "Marketplace". I had been wanting a longboard for a while and stumbled upon some *Sector 9* boards on the website being sold by *Skates on Haight*. I thought this was cool, so I decided to order the *Sector 9 Quad 30* longboard in blue.
After a week in a half of waiting, I finally got my board. I don't know if the delay was due to the skate shop or UPS, nonetheless, I was happy to have my package.
When I opened the box, I saw that I did not receive the longboard I ordered. What I got instead was the *Sector 9 Bolt Quad* longboard.
Now this didn't trouble me too much because it was simply a different design from what was shown online.
The only problem I had was that the longboard has the 'Foam' grip tape instead of normal grip tape. It's not that big of a deal to me, but I wish I would have been informed beforehand about this. That's where they lose an egg on their rating.
All in all, I'm pretty content with the purchase.

Rating + 1 Unreasonable

After waiting two weeks from ordering the shoes arrived, in the wrong color. Spent another week and a half just getting them to send me a return label. Altogether, it took over a month and a lot of hassle to get what I had ordered.

Poor communication (very irresponsible), amateur customer service, slow shipping

They should warn you that they're going to ship signature required so that you can make sure to ship the item to an address where someone can sign for it. Or, they should just ship their merchandise without the signature requirement.

Product came after around 3 weeks when I ordered because there was some trouble with inventory. I won't go into specifics but the shoes came and it seems okay.

Took wayy to long to ship. Once shipped, tracking information provided was incorrect. When product arrived, the box was the correct box but the sunglasses were a completely different model than what was ordered and listed on the box... Terrible experience and I may never use again

    Used items are NOT Returnable, Exchangeable nor Refundable. No exceptions. The skates/shoes/items you receive in the mail are brand new and in unused condition. We strongly recommend that you try them on indoors on smooth or carpeted surface to ensure proper fit before using them at all. This will preserve the condition of the items should you choose to return them. In other words, do not attempt to test the skates or items by skating around the block or at an indoor rink. We do not differentiate between slightly used, well used or very used. Any skate/shoe/item which comes back to us in a condition that cannot be resold as new are considered used. No returns on vinyl records ever. No exceptions. They are not returnable.

Return Instruction
    1. Log onto your account and find your order in order history, click on 'Request RMA from Seller' Button next to the order information.
    2. On 'Compose Message Page', verify the order number you want to request return on the top of the page, choose 'RMA Inquiry' from the drop down menu, provide the item# (you can find on your order invoice e-mail) and the reason you want to return, and indicate you want to return for replacement or refund before click 'send message' button.
    3. Once our Customer Service Representatives receive your inquiry, it will take us 24 - 48 hours to respond to your inquiry.
    4. Once our Customer Service has verified your order information and approved for you to send the merchandise back to us, you will be provided with Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number for your return through e-mail. The e-mail contains RMA number, RMA details and important return shipping instruction. Read the instruction carefully before you ship your return merchandise back to us.
    5. We strongly recommend you return your item in the same or similar packaging as they were delivered to you with all the original parts, accessories and menu/documentation included (any missing parts or accessories may result your return being rejected or your refund/replacement being delayed). Re-using the package your item came in is acceptable, as long as the packaging is in good condition and all previous addresses, tracking information and labels are removed.
