Purchased LG phone battery thru New Egg. Installed yesterday and battery is totally dead and will not charge. The original battery works better and it isn't too good.

Rating + 1 Incomplete/Misleading Item Specification

I ordered a battery for a Samsung Galaxy S3. The battery fits in my phone correctly and will charge to 100%. I purchased this battery to replace the 3-year-old battery that originally came with the phone.

The battery that I have purchased from The Slick Zone INC performs WORSE than the 3-year-old battery I was intending to replace.

I believe these batteries to be either refurbished cells or batteries that have been sitting in a warehouse for several years.

The battery that came with my phone says "Made in Korea".
The battery that I ordered from The Slick Zone INC says "cells made in Korea, assembled in China".
This leads me to believe they are selling refurbished cells as new.
Fraudulent in my opinion.

I will not buy from this seller ever again.

I would give this seller negative reviews if I could. They sold me used Samsung OEM batteries for my S3 as new. They fail to work after slightly over a month's use. Just it time to be denied a return! Newegg needs to pull this seller. You think you should be able to trust Newegg when you are making purchases. This is the first terrible experience I have had. In the future, it looks like I'll stick to the other big online seller, where I won't get ripped off with returns of products that are not as advertised or are defective!

I ordered a cell phone batter through NewEgg. I did not check the shipping info and my item was shipped to an old employer. Not the companies fault. I emailed the company and asked if the item has already shipped and asked if it was too late to correct the issue. They emailed me back and said it was too late to change the shipping address. I replied back asking for the shipping info (Who it was shipped through UPS, FedEx, USPS, etc... and if there was a tracking number so I can try and intercept it before it was shipped back to them or might still be at my old employer...long story short...2 weeks later i am still waiting to find out how this item was shipped, but have received the item as my old employer was still holding on to it. Customer service doesn't seem to be top priority for this company as this was a bit of a time sensitive situation.
