Rating + 1 Do not buy from this seller, the manufacturer will not honer the warranty due to lack of a proper bill of sale

Ordered a Samsung tablet on 11/19/2015 and did receive it promptly but was a Verizon model instead of the wifi version. After a few weeks the tablet started to boot loop and got to the point it was not able to run on battery for more than a minute.
Contacted Throwback deals and they answered at first offering to rma the device but nothing after. Further communication goes unanswered. I was concerned that it would be exchanged for a referb unit so I sent it to Samsung for repair. Samsung will not honer the warranty because the bill of sale is non-existent, only a newegg invoice is available. Samsung is requiring payment for the repair within two days otherwise it will be returned un-repaired. Getting the correct receipt will not happen in time so I'll need to pay or get back a useless product.
I have written to Newegg and Throwback deals to obtain a proper bill of sale but in the meantime I need to pay for the repairs in order to get the tablet back in working condition. I didn't buy this to be in the repar shop for months while this is being sorted out.
The bitterness of poor service lasts much longer than the sweetness of a low price.

Because of this I will think twice before buying off of Newegg in the future, there are many other sites that have better service than what I'm seeing with this. Throwback deals is a total rip off and appears to be a flyby night operation and newegg apparently will not stand behind the product.

Rating + 1 lousy/would not buy from again/would not recommend to anyone

This seller "ran out of stock" of the Wifi-only tablet I ordered, and instead of sending me an email to notify me, they instead sent a Verizon version of the same tablet, which constantly prompted us to insert a SIM card to activate our Verizon service. Without a SIM card we were unable to update the operating system or install certain apps. Not being a Verizon customer, this was very frustrating. Once seller was contacted, they initially offered to send a 5-year warranty for the Verizon tablet, which was a more expensive version of what I ordered, so I should be happy with it.
However, upon checking the newegg website, they were still listing the item I ordered, but at a higher price! When I pointed this out, they offered to exchange my tablet for the correct one, but at that point I had no trust left and didn't believe they would send me a new/correct item, but rather a refurb or open-box item.
I ended up contacting the newegg customer service directly in order to send back the tablet and get my refund. Regina T at newegg customer service was extraordinarily helpful and efficient and got everything sorted out for me.
I will admit some fault on my part in that I failed to read any other buyer reviews of this seller. Had I been paying attention at all, I would have been warned away from the start. Hopefully newegg gets enough complaints about these clowns to shut them down.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE PEOPLE. THEY ARE UNETHICAL AND DECEIVING. I BOUGHT AN ALLEGEDLY NEW DEVICE FROM THEM AND THE ONE THAT THEY SENT WAS DAMAGED AND USED.

Rating + 1 Never posted my item, on 3 separate occasions told it was 'just posted', refused a refund until I got Newegg involved.

Ordered 12/13, called on 12/21 as the shipping label showed no movement. Was told by a guy it has just left his desk and was on it's way. Tracking still not updated days later, get an email from Throwback Deals to tell me it was posted days ago and they were opening an investigation with USPS and I would hear back from Hannah ASAP - I never heard back from Hannah.
12/22 Throwback Deals emails me and says they will cancel and refund.
12/28 still no refund, contact Throwback deals and they say it's in transit and will be here in two days so they cannot give me a refund. Tracking still shows no movement.
12/29 I call Throwback deals and I'm told it left the warehouse last night and tracking should update tomorrow and I would have to refuse the package, wait for it to return etc.
12/30 Tracking still hasn't updated, I'm pretty confident they don't actually have this item in stock and have no intention of sending.

Really dishonest seller.

Rating + 1 Poor customer service and unprofessional

Would never order from this seller again. Ordered a surface 2 32 GB new from them through Newegg. about 2 days later the surface stopped working and I called Microsoft to help me out, it was then that I realized that they gave me a used surface that no longer had a warranty, not only that, but the Microsoft rep said that I had a 64GB not the 32 GB that I had ordered so they were unable to give me a warranty because it was not the invoice that I had.
All that being said, now I contact the seller and the have the nerve to accuse me of lying and stating that they will review the product that I return to make sure it is the one they sent me, HELLO you sent me the wrong item to begin with, what makes me think you know how to tell what you are doing at this point?

So as of now I am out my money with no working device, hoping the the folks at Microsoft will be able to help me out, not the seller as they are useless.

Rating + 1 This seller SUCKS and is completely irresponsible and unreliable.

This seller is completely unreliable. I ordered the product, which was IN STOCK according to the website, on 12/7/15. I get a tracking # on 12/9 but the package hasn't shipped. I then get a phone call from a guy (Stanley) stating that they are out of stock on what I ordered but could get it in black instead. I told him I wanted white, not black. He then puts me on hold for a minute and comes back and says that they had one that was used as a display only. He told me that he would give me an extra 5 yr warranty on the item for that. I told him that was fine and I would take it. He said that it would ship that day (12/9/15). Well, that certainly didn't happen. I called Newegg on 12/16/15 asking about my order and they shift me and the blame over to this 3rd party. I talked to David this time and he said that the warehouse was backed up and that they would get it out that day with 2 day shipping. Sure, okay, that means I should get it on 12/18 or 12/19 at the very latest. Funny thing, David flat out lied to me and it didn't even ship until 12/22/15 and is not expected to arrive until 12/26. Are they not aware that Christmas is the 25th, which was why this was ordered in the first place? No attempt to even upgrade the shipping to make sure it gets here by Christmas. YOU PEOPLE SUCK!!! I hope your business goes belly up since you obviously don't know what it takes to maintain one. Customer service, people. You don't serve your customers and it won't be long until you don't have any.

Would I buy from this seller again? Oh hell no!!!.
