Rating + 5 HP DC7700 Desktop Computer

US Micro Corp has some of the best customer support I have ever experienced. I bought 3 used/refurbished HP DC7700 Desktop Computers from US Micro Corp. Shipping was fast and they were very well packaged and included all the pieces, including product numbers for windows 7 installations. Two of the computers had no issues. The third one would start but was acting up due to dead CMOS battery. I emailed US Corp explaining the issue. Aaron from Tech Support emailed me right back and offered to send me new batteries, and if it didn't solve the problem a replacement computer. Unfortunately the new battery did not resolve the issue. Aaron immediately issued an RMA, and they even paid for return shipping as well as shipping costs for the replacement computer. For what I had paid for the computers I really did not anticipate this level of service but Aaron treated me as if I had spent 1,000's. I will for sure buy from US Micro Corp again!

Computer mouse was broken and seller sent a new one in just 48 hours. PC works great. Installed Linux Mint on it.
it flies. Exellent PC.

The laptop they sent had to be returned due to a problem. They were so wonderful about the return and sent a replacement very quickly.

Rating + 1 Don't buy "refurbs" from this seller

I purchased a refurbished monitor from this seller.

Cables and documentation were missing from the box of the monitor. There was also NO screen covering/protection for the monitor as it was packed, though luckily there doesn't seem to be any damage.

Contacted the seller, via email from the NewEgg order history page, to report the problem and requested that they send the missing HDMI, DVI, and USB cables to make things right.

The seller never responded.

Rating + 2 Bad drivers

I expect even refurbished products to work right out of the box. This was exceedingly slow. Microsoft's speed test rated it 1 on a scale of 1 to 9. It literally took about 3 seconds between typing a character and its appearance on the screen. I was planning to return it, but my son came home for the weekend and found it to have many generic or incorrect drivers installed. Now that it's been fixed, I'm pleased with it.

BUYER BEWARE. IF YOU ARE LUCKY YOU MIGHT GET WHAT IS ADVERTIZED, IF NOT YOU'RE STUCK WITH MISSING OS DVD, A BATTERY SUPPLY WITH TOO LOW OF A WATTAGE, AND THE CONTENTS OF THE BOX NEVER CHECKED TO SEE IF IT WAS PACKAGED WITH WHAT THEY PROMISED. THERE WAS NO RESTORE PARTITION ON THE HARD DRIVE AS ADVERTIZED AND IF YOU TRY TO BACK UP AN IMAGE RESTORE IT JUST WON'T LET YOU DO IT ON THIS LAPTOP. SINCE THE POWER SUPPLY IS NOT THE ORIGINAL 135 WATTS (THE ONE SUPPLIED IS 90 WATTS) WHEN THE COMPUTER BOOTS YOU GET A MESSAGE THAT THE POWER SUPPLY IS TOO LOW AND THE CPU GOES INTO SLOW MODE AS TO NOT DAMAGE THE POWER SUPPLY. WHO WANTS TO SPEND THE EXTRA MONEY FOR PARTS THEY SHOULD HAVE SUPPLIED WHEN A RESPONSIBLE COMPANY WOULD DO THE RESEARCH AND KNOW WHAT IS NEEDED TO RUN THIS LAPTOP. I'M A DISABLED VET IN A POWER CHAIR AND COMPUTERS ARE A GOOD HOBBY FOR A HANDICAPPED PERSON. HOWEVER, IT MAKES ME VERY ANGRY THAT I HAVE TO REPACK AND RETURN THIS BECAUSE MY HANDS ARE BAD AND IT'S FRUSTRATING.

RMA Policy
    US Micro Corp provides a 60 day limited warranty on all products we sell, unless otherwise noted on original description of product. This warranty includes any hardware defects and EXCLUDES any software issues, neglect, or unauthorized repair. In addition we do not test laptop batteries therefore battery life will not be covered by any warranty unless otherwise noted on original description of product. The warranty date will start from the time your item has been invoiced. We will offer refunds only within the first 30 days of receipt. Under no circumstance will the original shipping charges be refunded. Buyer is responsible for return shipping. If you choose to return your item instead of using your warranty for repair or replacement you may be subject to a restocking fee. Any buyer remorse returns are subject to a 10% restocking fee.
RMA instructions
    1. Log onto your Newegg.com account and find your order in order history, click on 'Request RMA from Seller' Button next to the order information.
    2. On 'Compose Message Page', verify the order number you want to request return on the top of the page, choose 'RMA Inquiry' from the drop down menu, provide the item# (you can find on your order invoice e-mail) and the reason you want to return, and indicate you want to return for replacement or refund before click 'send message' button.
    3. Once our Customer Service Representatives receive your inquiry, it will take us 24 - 48 hours to respond to your inquiry.
