Rating + 1 Very Poor Customer Service

We received the scanner base with no power cords first off, then when connecting it we discovered the base did not even work. I called the company and they asked "How do you know it doesn't work?" common sense is once you plug something in and it doesn't work that's usually a good sign. They issued me an RMA so I sent the item back in request of a replacement. I called to check on the status and the owner says he refused the item due to parts missing and it not being in the correct packaging. We secured it safely with pillows in a small size fitting package and there were no extra parts but the base itself. He told me to "Screw off" and hung up on me. I went to my warehouse to check if it has arrived back here to find they (Uniquepos) actually changed the packaging themselves again. I refused the package with UPS and would like a 100% refund. I will also be reporting this to the BBB.

First of all we are so sorry for the inconvenience we have cuased. However item you selected does not come with any power supply or communication cable, those has to be ordered separetly. Whether item is defective or not, customers are required to return the item will all original accessories ,manual and box. Your return did not have original box and manual. As we stated in our return policy all items must be returned with all original accessories in order to issue refund, otherwise it is denied and sent back to buyer. We hope this helps. We are willing to issue a refund if you find original accessories of the item.

Rating + 1 Lack of Customer Service

I ordered an overhead door contact on 9/14. It shipped fast (9/16 received), however it was the wrong part. I sent them an email on 9/16 about the incorrect order. Since then I have been waiting for the correct part and a return label. I have emailed and called them several times. I don't know if I will ever get my part. I will never use a market place company ever again on Newegg.

RMA Policy
    Return Policy (Request RMA)

    Unless noted below or in the product description, most products can be
    returned within 30 days from the date of invoice if all of the
    following requirements are met:
    Items returned must first be issued a Return Merchandise Authorization
    (RMA) number.
    RMA numbers are valid for 30 days only.
    Please allow 2-3 weeks to process refunds and credit your account.
    Our Return Policy for software is consistent with the manufacturer
    license agreement.
    We do not accept returns of Print heads, Media (labels, ribbon,
    receipt paper, etc.), Software or Symbol Service Contracts.
    For certain items all sales are final and returns are not available,
    see product descriptions for information.

    To receive credit, all products must

    Must be returned in their original packaging and non used.
    Must include all manuals, cables, warranty cards, etc.
    Must be clean, without scratches and resealed in a factory fresh condition.

    All products must be returned double boxed, with no markings or
    writing on the original box. If a product shows signs that the entire
    product and packaging was removed from its original box, a refund may
    be denied resulting in shipment of the product back to the customer.
    Freight charges are not refundable. Customer is responsible for
    shipping costs on returned items. If the returned item meets all the
    above requirements, it will be accepted and a restocking fee will be
    applied depending on the sale value of the returned items:

    RMA Fee Schedule for Returned Items

    Products returned New, Unopened in perfect condition with all
    packaging and item materials and manuals that can be resold as new are
    subject to a 15% restock fee + Shipping cost.
    Products returned Used, Opened in close to perfect condition or with
    all packaging and item materials and manuals that can be resold as
    openbox are subject to a 50% restock fee + shipping costs. Products
    returned Used, Opened in user damaged condition or without all
    packaging and item materials and manuals that cannot be resold as new
    or open box are refused and returned to customer. If a customer
    refuses delivery of returned item, the item is disposed of by the
    shipping carrier, but the customer is still charged for that item and
    will not be entitled to a refund.

    Lost or Damaged Merchandise/Claims:

    All claims about carriers must be made within 15 days of delivery.

    Dead on Arrival Claims:

    All DOA claims must be made within 5 days of delivery.
    Products that show signs of use are not returnable as dead on arrival.

    Refusal and Undelivered Fees:

    A %15 refusal fee will be apply to all items that are not accepted by
    customer upon delivery and to all orders that can not be delivered to
    the given address.
RMA instructions
    1. Log onto your account and find your order in order history, click on 'Request RMA from Seller' Button next to the order information.
    2. On 'Compose Message Page', verify the order number you want to request return on the top of the page, choose 'RMA Inquiry' from the drop down menu, provide the item# (you can find on your order invoice e-mail) and the reason you want to return, and indicate you want to return for replacement or refund before click 'send message' button.
    3. Once our Customer Service Representatives receive your inquiry, it will take us 24 ¨C 48 hours to respond to your inquiry.
    4. Once our Customer Service has verified your order information and approved for you to send the merchandise back to us, you will be provided with Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number for your return through e-mail. The e-mail contains RMA number, RMA details and important return shipping instruction. Read the instruction carefully before you ship your return merchandise back to us.
    5. We strongly recommend you return your item in the same or similar packaging as they were delivered to you with all the original parts, accessories and menu/documentation included (any missing parts or accessories may result your return being rejected or your refund/replacement being delayed). Re-using the package your item came in is acceptable, as long as the packaging is in good condition and all previous addresses, tracking information and labels are removed.
