This review is from: brother HL-2280DW MFC / 3-In-One Up to 27 ppm Monochrome Wireless Laser Printer
Pros: - Quick printing
- Scanning is great
- Cheap aftermarket toner
Cons: - Annoying loud fan
- Fan stays on for 10 minutes after the last print. There is no way to change this. It is the highest wait time of any printer.
- Drum has to be replaced at 12,000 pages. The OEM drum runs around $100. There are also aftermarket ones available.
- You are limited to a 17 character Wifi password.
Other Thoughts: Brother makes some good printers. They just need to improve them so that the fan goes off immediately after a print like most HPs.
I had to return mine because the fan was just too annoying for me. If they fix this I will buy from them.
This review is from: maxell 229323 1.5/3.0TB LTO Ultrium 5 Tape Cartridge 1 Pack
Pros: They are tapes?
Cons: We purchased these tapes with our Dell TL4000. They have been too abrasive with the IBM drives causing the heads to go bad between 6-8 months. The tape is too abrasive to the drives and causes this issue. We have replaced over 6 drives in two years that we have been using them. Save yourself the trouble and avoid these tapes.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: One order worked.
Cons: The second order of 3 sticks, all of them were faulty.
Other Thoughts: I had two orders of this memory. The first order of 1 memory module worked in my Dell R610. I then ordered 3 additional modules. When the arrived I tried them and the server reported MEMBIST failure. Dell recommends when you have an issue to place only one memory in the server in the A1 slot and see if the server will boot. None of the three sticks would boot the server. I ordered some Kingston memory and that worked with no issues.READ FULL REVIEW
