Pros: I am correcting my earlier review on March 15th, entitled Can't access internet. Blushing, but every time I tried to access, I got Error 651 or was told to use ethernet cable and I did not have an ethernet port for my old desktop so I just got befuddled. 200 people on other forums had this Error 651, I stayed befuddled but finally plugged in the ethernet cable and voila'. Otherwise I love this laptop more and more, I've not had a chance to use but one other laptop. I think I might have liked a non-wide screen but I don't know. I love Windows 7, the screen, the machine runs on battery for at least 3 or more hours so I don't have to watch that constantly. ..... NOW, for all those who have trouble with the keyboard vs. touchpad, Lenovo's little skimpy manual does note that one can enable/disable that with the keys fn+F8. I said that on March 15th too. Now we know that males don't read manuals! LOL
It's a pain though, I wish that they had provided a toggle switch.
Cons: I can't think of anything dire at this time. I'm getting used to Windows 7 etc. I like the texture of the case. I got this on NewEgg's very good deal in early March, for $450.
Other Thoughts: Again, trouble with the keyboard vs. touchpad, Lenovo's manual notes that one can enable/disable that with the keys fn+F8.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: I agree with all the Pros already stated, I haven't tried anything very technical. I really like the machine, the screen, Windows 7, ease of use, speed. I bought a Lenovo as I'd always heard that the keyboard was so good on their laptops. (For info: someone said that if we hit the touchpad when typing, it annoyingly interrupts with the cursor...however, the manual that came with it states that we can use fn+F8 to disable the pad whilst typing and that works)
Cons: Well...I've had this machine in the house for almost 2 weeks and have yet to get on line. Not a LAN, not a wireless connection, just a plain old Broadband. AT&T told me what to type in to access the modem, I get Error 651, they have tested the modem which works fine on my Dell desktop, and works fine on the laptop. So it's up to me to find an answer? as I've read forums til blue in the face, lots of these Errors 651 on the Lenovo with Windows 7. Help! The whole idea of having the laptop was being able to surf and see on such a screen.READ FULL REVIEW
