This review is from: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO - CPU Cooler with 120 mm PWM Fan
Pros: easy to install
Cons: had a problem before with orange smelly burnt oil all over the place. Thought it was a faulty PCI plug on a vid card as thats where it seemed most it was located. clean sweep, now 6 months later and after placing fan on other side of heat sync, i can cleary see the oil melted and stuck between the fins.
will just upgrade
Pros: ran everything I had on ULTRA settings with 0 problems ever.
Cons: Went to start up the system, and no boot. Opened up the case , found that at the PCI slot where the PSU plugs into, had some nasty yellow liquid around it that totally smelt burnt. pulled out the card to find the back of the board extremely corroded where the PCI plugs are soldered onto the board. No fans spin, does not work in other PCI slots on MOBO. initial PSU still works, and starts up MOBO and all tests. Tried with new MOBO and same problem. Looks like the card is fried over nothing. awaiting RMA through manufacturer to see what awaits.
Other Thoughts: if RMA works and I get another because this is some weird problem, this would rule :D.READ FULL REVIEW
