Better than expected
Pros: The pros for this camera are a lot. It is very customizable, has a detailed menu/setup/control panel. The phone tech support is outstanding. I've owned very little Panasonic stuff, and it was great to speak to a human who really understood what they were talking about, and weren't reading off a cue card. So props to the tech support.
Cons: The only con I found was the lack of an instant record button. Although you can set it up to trigger on heat, motion and time. I just wish it had a record instant button.
Overall Review: I dunno, this is my first pet cam, but I'm very impressed with the camera and tech support.
Blew up in a month and half
Pros: Worked for a month and half, started up my duplicator and it burned up. I love the smell of burnt electronics.
Cons: Out of Neweggs warranty, hopefully Liteon will replace it.
Easy to install
Pros: Nice cooler, well built with good material. Quiet, works well so far. Good phone support.
Cons: I bought the Corsair 730t case to put this cooler in with the hope that it would fit since both are from the same manufacturer. The 730t is also on Corsairs site as a case that works with the H105. But the screws for mounting the cooler to the top do not work with the rubber washers on the case. I would have liked to have the rubber washers in case of vibration, but the screws weren't long enough. I contacted Corsair and they knew about the issue but didn't have other screws to send me.
Dead in two months
Pros: It's thunderbolt
Cons: Died in two months now I have to play hot potato with Lacie, and the replacement is going to cost me shipping. It would power on, click several times but not mount.
DOA
Pros: It's a DVD ROM drive, it's black, it matches my case.
Cons: DOA
Overall Review: It's a two star because the RMA shipping is half the price of the drive, which means the drive will end up costing me twice as much with two shippings and the product cost. Newegg ought to have free RMA for stuff so cheap.
So far, it's been a journey
Pros: Well so far, the machine is very nice. I'm going to put it through more paces with video editing soon. The feel of the keyboard is nice. The touchpad seems to be off center, like made for a lefty. The screen is really nice too look at. This 18 is lighter than my HP 17 from just a year ago.
Cons: This is my first rollercoaster ride with vista. I've already had to format this machine. The machine wanted to crash on the Sony bloatware and Windows Defender.
Overall Review: The manual is a little skimpy. Don't try calling Newegg for product information. The Newegg description doesn't list the IEEE port, but there is one.
