Pros: Still running strong. In my last review I said that it was just as good as its asus counterpart... that was before the impact was announced. So my bad on that.
It is still a very solid board and quite good for the money, it also has the cpu socket in the right place for aftermarket coolers (I'm looking at you msi and gigabyte!).
Willing little board that overclocks easily.
Cons: Now, the computer did blue-screen once in its history, although that was several weeks ago, it was quite alarming when it happened. I have not seen a difference in performance since then, and I know it could have been other components, it is just something to be aware of when building a computer, I guess.
Audio headers do not like the asrock software, don't instal it, the computer will work just fine with out all the "Xfast" stuff.
Other Thoughts: Asrock has a reputation for making some less than top quality componants, this is likely why they are number 3 in the mobo game. I do think that everyone jumps at the opportunity to call them out on it, almost as if they were secretly hoping it would fail. The truth is, Asrock is a decent company that makes decent boards, that's it.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: BitFenix BFA-ACL-12WK6-RP Alchemy Connect LED-Strip White 12cm
Pros: Very bright, only needed one to light of a prodigy.
Easy to connect to each other.
Cons: Awful adhesive, would recommend some 3M double sided tape.
Long connection cables, con for me because of my smaller case.
Other Thoughts: looks very good with the xfx card in there.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: BitFenix Spectre Pro Solid White 200mm Case Fan
Pros: It is extremely quiet, and puts out a ton of air. I specifically got this because it has the highest CFM rating of all the 200mm fans.
Cons: more of a gripe with all fans nowadays. i hate the self threading screws, I always manage to strip them.
other than that, none.
Other Thoughts: Fits nicely in the prodigy.READ FULL REVIEW
