This review is from: ADATA DashDrive UV128 128GB USB 3.0 Flash Drive Model AUV128-128G-RBY
Pros: I wanted to appologize to ADAta, this drive is really good.It does in fact come close to 128GB not and 32 as i previously thought it was.(see other thoughts)
Other Thoughts: originally , when i plugged in the drive i didn't pay attentions what format the drive will use. on windows 8.1 pro x64 it picked FAT32 by default. By default it will only allow you to write 32 Gb of data on it and thats it, Even if you have more storage capacity it will not see it. I reformatted with NTFS and capacity is now 116GB. Writing speeds have almost doubled.
NTFS writes with 58MBps average(Drive gets pretty warm)
FAT32 used tow only write with about 34MBps(was not getting too warm)
So yea it is actually a great drive with a lot fo capacity. Imagine how much data you are carrying on your keychain its insane!!
It also comes with lifetime warranty and by registering it on their site they will give you a copy of acronis true image. And a recovery tool in case your drive crashes. Bunch of other programs that were not a big deal. Get this drive you will love the price/performance
Pros: I have to highlight the fact that you need to make sure it fits your case. my new case Rosewill Blackhawk clears this by 1/2 inch, after I removed the side panel fan. My old case was a little smaller Cougar Solution, I didn't try it on but I guarantee you it will not fit. I use this on a fx 9590 and it seems to never go over 44 c on bf3 ultra settings. idles my cpu at around 20-25c. comes with brackets for additional fan to configure push/pull. I haven't used this but I'm sure it will drop couple degrees. It's relatively quiet but my other fans are loud, so I cant tell you how quiet it is for sure
Cons: it will block 2 ram slots closest to the cpu if you use fancy heatsink ones, but not if you used regular ram without heatsink, or low profile ram
Other Thoughts: just out of curiouslity I decided to see if my old ram will fit the slots. it doesn't have any heatsinks and with a slight effort it went right in and room to spare above it. prolly 1/2 inch,
In my setup I used balistix sport VLP and regular crucial balistix sport and all those fit. If you have the fanciest and biggest heatsinks on your ram don't even think about this cpu cooler. and don't waste your time to give negative feedback about it. This would be your fault..
If you are not ready to go water cooling yet, this is about as close as you will get on air only.
Pros: Very very low profile. Lower than the tabs that lock it in. One is about half(slightly more than) the height of a regular ram
Other Thoughts: Overclocks well with much or any voltage increase. Stable. Good price when I got itREAD FULL REVIEW
