This review is from: Sharp LC-43UB30U 43" Class 4K Ultra HD Smart LED TV
Pros: Hasn't come yet... but it looks pretty in the picture.
Cons: I don't have the TV yet so i can't tell you.
Other Thoughts: We'll see if it gets delivered to the right apartment address. Fortunately this is either a FedEx or UPS delivery so it will go to the leasing office if nobody's home, and they'll know it's addressed to the unit number seeing my name on it. I already told them to be on the lookout for packages for me being delivered to my old address at the complex.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Looks nice with the flashy heat spreader
Cons: After about a month one of the modules died. I'll have to run triple channel until i can buy another quad set. I no longer have the original packaging and now more than a month went by and I can't exchange them. Should have listened to the reviews and gone with another brand.
Other Thoughts: This has to be the worst success rate of any build I've made since I started with a 939 single core back in early 2006. I bought the X99-S Plus and after a week the DIMM3 slot would fail POST if populated. The manufacturer is dragging their feet on the RMA. Newegg won't exchange because it has been more than 30 days and in order to collect the $20 rebate from the manufacturer you have to take off and send in the UPC code on the box, voiding the warranty. So I bought the X99-A motherboard from the best manufacturer on the planet and now one of my RAM modules has gone bad. BTW, the X99-S Plus would fail POST with any RAM module in it, even if it would work in other slots.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: MSI X99S SLI Plus LGA 2011-v3 Intel X99 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
Pros: Inexpensive and good write up. Initially powered on in quad mode RAM using Gskill RipJaws.
Cons: After a week of running the board wouldn't POST. Found that DIMM slot 3 was bad. All my RAM booted fine except when this slot was populated. I'll be sending it back on RMA since it is past the 30 day window for Newegg return. I see now the same board is $50 more so I went with an Asus X99-A. When this comes back from RMA it will be a spare.READ FULL REVIEW
