Pros: This is a relatively cheap UPS that is built to last. I have had one for about 3 years and another for a little over a year. These are NOT for unattended shutdown of computers. These are so that when you are on the last line of your 2000 word document (that you haven't been saving) and the power goes out for a second, you won't lose your work. They are also great for letting you know that the power is out in the middle of the night when you are sound asleep and it really doesn't matter!
Cons: No switch to turn off the alarm permanently.
Other Thoughts: If you live in an area that is prone to blips in the electrical supply, this baby will save you from a reboot in the middle of your work. Worthless if you have a laptop running on battery power. ....though it will charge the battery of your laptop (or Phone!) during a long power outage. You'll just have to deal with the alarm!READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Magic Lighting 16-Color 5-Mode LED Light Bulb and Remote
Pros: These are CHEAP compared to the first one I bought 10 years ago (sixty dollars) and do a great job as an accent light. We have several clipped on behind things like potted plants and statuary. We put them on remote switches to make them even easier to use. These are good because they remember the last color or sequence they were on, and so, you don't have to use the remote very often. We change them up for different holidays. Red for Valentines day!
Cons: They don't cost five dollars. The remote battery only lasts about 4 years.....<sarcastic comment>
Other Thoughts: With a short piece of plastic pipe with an inside diameter equal to the diameter of the light, these can be turned into mini spotlights that are great to highlight something. The longer the pipe the more focused the beam. These make great mirror ball spots!READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: It just works. I went from a Linksys fast Ethernet switch to this and my network speeds improved 45%. That in itself is reason to trade up to Gigabit. Additionally, it is built like a tank. Metal construction. It looks like a professional piece of equipment.
Cons: It only has 8 ports?
Other Thoughts: I bought one of these on a great sale over a year ago. Initially it was just to see what a 30 dollar gigabit switch could do. After the first week, I wished I had bought a second because I used it to replace my Linksys fast Ethernet switch.READ FULL REVIEW
