Other Thoughts: I'm not a gamer so I wasn't looking for a card that could blow every other one out of the water. I merely wanted a cool quiet card for photo editing and internet application design. Paired with my 23" IPS monitor, this little card gives me a decent display.
The ASUS GPU Tweak gives me alot of control with OCing this little bad boy, and I've tried light stress tests to attempt to heat this thing up. I couldn't get it past 40c.
I am saddened to note that the tiny heat sink fan continuously runs at full RPM, and no utility I've found can change this. It's like a tiny hairdryer at idle. I've ordered an aftermarket heatsink for like 9 bucks which should remedy this issue.
I've also had some fun locking up and crashing this little card when running tests while overclocked. I am nearly positive that it is because I was using a 220w ITX PSU. Yes ASUS, I'm perfectly aware that Nvidea recommends at least 300w. Trust me, I'm a huge fan (no pun intended)... I have owned a few ASUS motherboards, two high end laptops, and a beautiful display from you and have always been impressed with your quality and attention to detail. This card is a good value regardless.
I actually decided to upgrade my case and PSU because I've realized that my dreams of having a tiny gaming PC with a large PSU would simply cost me too much. I will give you guys an update when I get my 450w PSU
Oh, and by the way. I am a twenty something MIS analyst and by no means am I here to say that I'm "humanity's gift to IS" or whatever that other guy was saying. I'm not going to list how many workstations I administer or how many VMware cores we are licensed for. I am merely here to offer my experience, take it as it's written and make up your mind based on specs and value.
If I didn't value silent PCs so much, I'd have given it a 5. Besides, by the end of the week, my upgraded heatsink with make it silent.
