This review is from: Creative A220 2.1 Speakers
Pros: these are a very good bang for buck speakers set up.
quality speakers and the well shielded wires.
the sound is very good and pretty good volume for such a modest priced set of speakers and amp.
Cons: no real cons. if your a true audio nut you may want more.
if your considering getting cheap speakers --get these instead!
Other Thoughts: if you thinking about getting the cheap speaker set, cough up the few extra $$$ and get these speakers.
the sound and volume is so much better and these only a few dollars more than the bare two speaker base set up.
This review is from: Mass Effect 2 PC Game
Pros: decent storyline, plays well when patched, good voice acting, good graphics, good action. compares very well to ME1.
Cons: you really need to play ME1 first and import your player form ME1 for full effect.
some of the best NPC's from ME one have only cameo roles in ME2.
there are a few graphics glitches where the animations/movements are not 100% some MPCs don't walk like a real human would. sort of a gorilla like walk it is brief but just looks wrong. minor but annoying to watch.
you'll also need to patch up the game.
Other Thoughts: played fine on ati hd4870 and currently with a ge force 550 TI, win 7-64.
this value version is the best cause it don't have much in the way of DRM it logs in a number code and your done. no origin software to make a mess like me3.
it takes a good 30-40 hours to play through. it is quite the bang for buck in video games. i think you'll like it.
overall it is a good game with many hours of play, no stability problems or crashes on my set up .
Pros: cool, quite, enough power to run mass effects 1,2,3 full tilt on my 22" LCD.
this card has considerable overclocking headroom, probably 20%, though it runs well enough for me as is.
very low power draw on idle, it also draws less power than the HD 4870 it replaced when running a game.
Cons: can't really think of any. i guess my MSI 870S can't run these in SLI--
Other Thoughts: bought one of these "open box" to replace a fading and overheating asus HD 4870 i bought used from one of those online auction places last year.
i thought at first this would be one of those sideways deals and just hoped this card would do as well as the old HD 4870.
i am very happy to say it runs every bit as well, maybe even a bit better than the old card. and this is not overclocked at all!
this card also has a neat "old school" VGA port for the old CRT monitors. this works well for me cause the old asus VW221D LCD i have has that old port and not many modern cards have the old style port.
this is a very good card for mid-sized LCDs.
