Pros: Range, easy to set up
Cons: Looses configuration randomly. The last time gave itself a random static IP and created problems for my provider who in turn blocked me. It took a couple of days to figure out what was going on. Too late to return, it's going to auction and will be replaced by a non Trendnet router. Customer support said it's normal for a router to loose config after power glitches, so this is what may have happened. Nonsense, I had a WRT54G for several years and worked flawlessly until it died, power glitches notwithstanding.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Easy to set up
Good data throughput for the price
Cons: QoS does not work
Security is poor
Other Thoughts: I had initially enabled QoS for VoIP and streaming, apparently the QoS algorithms on this little box are not optimal and both my Vonage and streaming (both from the Internet to PC and from PC to PC) were stuttering. After disabling QoS, everything worked just fine. I can now stream Netflix while my daughter listens to Pandora.
Remote setup had to be disabled because security is poor (I will not give details).
Pros: Good quality
Easy set up under Win XP
Cons: Early software was buggy
Not all games key configs may be available for download but you can configure it however you want with the in-game controls configuration.
Other Thoughts: I like it, I've used it with BF2142, Bioshock, Fallout 3 and played for hours without muscle strain on my hands.READ FULL REVIEW
