So far so good!

APEVIA CF4SL-UBL-LED 80mm Blue LED Case Fan
APEVIA CF4SL-UBL-LED 80mm Blue LED Case Fan

Pros: Very affordable especially with the more you buy! 2000+/- RPM The blue lighting is nice and bright! They work!

Cons: This is kind of minor and not really worth taking an egg off, IMO, but something to keep in mind. They come with molex cables so you can't hook that up to your mb if you're into that. Also if you try and string these from one to the other they don't always work. I had my rear 120mm connected with the top 80mm and the 120 was hardly spinning at all. I ended up plugging the 120 on to my MB since it has the three plug adapters. Again not worth taking an egg away but just food for thought.

Overall Review: I got three of these to replace my 80mm case fans that had been replaced with random ones I had laying around. I wanted to have a more uniform scheme again instead of having a Frankin-case. I could tell the last original fan (from 2007) was on it's last leg and these actually had a little higher air displacement than those. They are nice and quiet and keeping my case cool! They are doing their job. If anything changes within the first year I'll update with those changes.

Awesome!

Thermaltake Massive23 LX Notebook Cooler CLN0015
Thermaltake Massive23 LX Notebook Cooler CLN0015

Pros: HUGE fan! My lap gets cold at first then warm with all the hot air it pulls from my laptop! Blue LED light Great angle (it's forward sloping) extra USB slot for the one you lose

Cons: The USB cord. It works fine, but it is way too short. I mean 6 inches isn't realistically long enough. I didn't feel like sacrificing a 3.0 port just for the fan so I ended up buying a usb extension cable. If you read this review, do yourself a favor and buy a longer usb cable too.

Overall Review: Overall I'm pretty impressed with the fan. My laptop is a mid tier gaming laptop and get's hot after a while even with simple games like Terraria. This fan keeps the temps at a more tolerable level allowing me to extend my playing by a couple hours. I didn't mention the on/off switch in either pro or con because the fan and my laptop stay plugged in and on most of the time so I don't have a real need for it. I have messed around with it and it works. Not much more I can say about it.

Great bang for your buck!

Acer Laptop Aspire Intel Core i5-3230M 6GB Memory 750GB HDD NVIDIA GeForce GT 730M 17.3" Windows 8 V3-771G-6485
Acer Laptop Aspire Intel Core i5-3230M 6GB Memory 750GB HDD NVIDIA GeForce GT 730M 17.3" Windows 8 V3-771G-6485

Pros: 6GB memory 17.3" screen Nvidia dedicated GPU Intel i5 w/ boost up to 3.2 Ghz (haven't tried yet) USB 3.0 DVD super multi Multi card reader Runs games fairly well. So far I've played Terraria, Jagged Alliance Online, Vindictus, A.R.E.S, and plan on trying out many more. The ones I have played are actually running full graphics without a hiccup! (that may not be saying much though! :P) A lot more that are listed in the specs!

Cons: Windows 8 - I'm getting used to it, but, I don't get why MS has to push an OS meant for touch sensitive hardware on something that doesn't utilize that tech. Win 7 works just fine. Oh well. What else can you expect from a company that monopolizes the OS for PC. Like I said. I'm slooooowly getting used to the feel of it. 5400 rpm HDD. We're in the 21st century. Let's act like it. 5400 is waaaay outdated. But hey, with all the other great tech they did put in, they had to cut a corner somewhere. Overall I'm not horribly upset, but that is the second thing I would have changed, the first being the OS. That and the laptop doesn't pay my bills (yet, muahahah)

Overall Review: Overall I'm happy with my selection, and I'm glad that it lived up to all the specs I read about. Sure this isn't the most extreme gaming laptop, but it works great for light or less graphic demanding new gen games. I would label this laptop as more of an all around entertainment laptop. You can do a little bit of everything on it. In MHO for what else is out there this laptop is the best bang for your buck. If you're deciding between this and a similarly priced laptop, just get this one. It isn't overloaded with bloatware and anything you get with a preinstalled OS is going to be Windows 8. If you hate it that much just install win 7 and be on your merry way.

Did the job while it lasted

AeroCool Shark 120mm Black Edition 120 mm Case cooler
AeroCool Shark 120mm Black Edition 120 mm Case cooler

Pros: -Sweet fin design -Really quiet and efficient if that's what you're looking for *Awesome wire sleeves!

Cons: The lifespan wasn't quite what I expected. No wonder most of these companies make their warranties 1 year :(

Overall Review: This is an awesome fan! I had an intake/exhaust set up with a pair of these. One for the front of the case to pull and the other in the back of the case for exhaust. Well a little over two years the exhaust finally blew. Luckily I was cleaning my case pretty regularly so I know it wasn't from excessive dust. It started making a horrible rattling sound and the fan was hardly moving. I was hoping for a better lifespan, especially with this being a fluid bearing type fan. I'm currently debating weather to purchase another one or try a different brand.

Awesome DDR2

G.SKILL 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Desktop Memory Model F2-6400CL5D-8GBPQ

Pros: DDR2 for older systems 8GB (2x4GB) 5-5-5-15 CAS Quality heat spreaders Life time warranty!!! I have these installed on an ASRock A785GM-LE MB and they fit fine. This is a mATX with very little space between the processor and the mem slots. I had an old pair of OCZ with huge heat spreaders. Between them pushing into each other and the CPU heat spreader leaning them over I was just waiting for something to blow. These DDR2's heat spreaders are thinner, and I believe, do a better job at cooling. The best part is they aren't pushing into each other or being leaned over by a CPU cooler! I couldn't be happier with my selection!

Cons: Price. But that's somewhat understandable. Every man has his price I suppose. Other than that nothing thus far.

Overall Review: Really great memory! I notice a huge difference between this and just 2GB. I was contemplating on the 4GB set, but, decided to go big to make my rig a little more "future proof". After approximately 6 months I'll try some OC'ing. As an ending note, for those of you who care about this sort of thing. The heat spreaders are actually more of a cobalt or sapphire. The display pictures makes it appear more violet and a little brighter. I think they look cool for how deep the color is. AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition - Phenom II X4 Deneb Quad-Core 3.4 GHz Socket AM3 125W Processor - HDZ965FBGMBOX

Pros: 3.4 Ghz speed! Quad core AM3 It comes with a decent fan cooler This CPU is a champ when it comes to gaming! (See other thoughts for more info)

Cons: None, other than it wasn't free :P

Overall Review: I upgraded to this from a single core Athlon 64 3500+-- I'm sure the math can be done there. Needless to say I am extremely happy with this CPU. My games FPS seriously quadrupled (no puns intended.) Where I was hitting maybe 25 fps on average now I'm hitting 80 fps on average. I have yet to try it out on some more graphically demanding games. Reinstalling SWTOR to see the performance boost! Other than gaming I haven't taken the time to try and bog it down. I wanted to ease it in. I did have some troubles when I installed it, but that was all user error. I reseated everything then took the MB out and there was a lovely dust bunny living under my MB! I love when that happens and I go into panic mode! I also think that the stock cooler is working great seeing the I'm at a solid 37c without load and well under 50c with load. That could change in the future, however. I will post an update after I've thrown everything I can at it!
