This review is from: Microsoft 52A-00004 Xbox 360 Controller for Windows
Pros: Instant Connection
Cons: Not Wireless
Right Analog Stick Is Tight
Right Directional Pad Doesn't Respond Well
Other Thoughts: I bought this controller thinking it was wireless. True, it doesn't say that it is wireless in the title, but it doesn't say it's wired either. And the first few pictures depict it being wireless. I am very disappointed. I could have bought a wired controller from Game Stop or Wally World for the same price, and not have paid shipping. Now I have to buy a USB extension so I can reach my bed from my laptop. Not what I had in mind... but do not want to deal with the headache of sending it back.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Logitech C615 HD WebCam
Pros: The clarity is immensely better compared to my old webcam. It's nice to be able to record and take pictures at such a high resolution. And the auto-focus works really well on it. It was simple to set up, I plugged it in, visited the website, get the drivers, and I was good to go.
Cons: No matter how hard I try, I can't find a way to fix it so that I can get my Steam chat working. I've searched google for a good 2 hours and can't find a solution anywhere. The main reason I bought the webcam was so I could chat with people online while playing games on Steam. But it detects the cam, I can open a chat window and try to call other players, but when I can it never shows up that I'm calling them, and it doesn't show that their calling me. But when I record videos it records audio just fine. What's up with that?
Other Thoughts: This is a really great webcam, and it was well worth the money. I'm sure that someone somewhere will find how to fix Steam voice chat eventually. I've got Windows 8.1 and it has its fair share of hardware and software problem causing.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Lenovo Ideatab Miix 2 8 Windows Tablet – 2GB RAM 64GB SSD 8" Windows 8.1 (59393611)
Pros: Battery life on it is amazing!
The CPU is very powerful, for a cheaper Tablet.
Storage space is great! (Get the 64gb and stick a 64gb SD card in, you'll be set.)
Gaming on it is actually enjoyable. I'll make a list of all the games I have tested and played on mine so far in the other thoughts.
Super bright screen (which doubles as a con)
FULL WINDOWS 8.1.
Free version of Microsoft Office.
Thin and light, fits in my back pockets!
Cons: Super Bright Screen. While this is great in light areas, you can see the screen crystal clear, it kind of sucks when you're in a dark room, because even at the lowest brightness setting it is still SUPER bright.
The only other con is that I can't find a a nice case for it. Since it's a sleek little device, I want to keep that and not ruin it with a bulky case. But sadly, I can't seem to find a good, slim case anywhere. I was something like the iPad has, just a screen cover. But sadly, all I can find are big bulky cases. So for now, I'm not going to buy a case.
Other Thoughts: I really do love this tablet. I have a friend that bought a Surface Pro 2 and he spent $1000 on it. I is powerful, but he just does work stuff on it. I bought this for $250, and it can do everything his can do that he needs to do with it. I love it! It is also pretty good at gaming. Here is a list of the games I have installed and working perfectly on my Miix 2 (I bought a wireless mouse and keyboard set to make gaming better.)
-League Of Legends
-LEGO Lord Of The Rings
-Prince Of Persia: The Sands Of Time
-Age of Empires
-RPG Maker VX Ace
-Sim City 4 Deluxe
-Roller Coaster Tycoon 3
These are just the games that I have installed and played without a hitch. LoL drops down to about 40 FPS when in a bigger battle, but other than that, it runs at 60 FPS. (All these games are running at lowest graphic settings, but they are enjoyable as high FPS.)
In closing, I LOVE this tablet! It's incredible! And if they make a Miix 3 in a year or so, I'd probably buy it.
