Needs some work
Pros: I am coming from old Logitech Z-5500s and Sennheiser cans. I didn't need the 5.1 and didn't find any interest in the current 2.1 systems because of aesthetics or quality control. For a set of what I consider to be in the low-mid-range cost of computer speakers, they looked fairly nice. I liked that the remote was wireless with a mute button.
Cons: The wireless remote is not as solid as it looks in the pictures. Very plastic-y and the knob was not even when adjusting the volume. The speakers were cold and tinny. The subwoofer was lackluster in providing any additional oomph when placed under my desk. The subwoofer is quite light and perhaps a more solid woofer enclosure would have helped. I also had to adjust the speaker connections at times. It must not have been checked during QC but the connections became slightly loose. As it stands, it just didn't feel like it warranted the cost. I feel as if an inexpensive 2.0 set of speakers would have given me the same sound. I returned this set and bought a set of Edifier S330D instead and those sound better than my old Z-5500s.
