This review is from: Sunpentown SD-350 MINI Dehumidifier
Pros: Its small, discrete and quiet. Mainly because, it doesn't have the parts of a real "Dehumidifier".
Cons: Does not effectively remove humidity. The advertised description of this products capability leads the buyer to believe it's a solution.
Other Thoughts: I had bought this item to sit next to my Chimney, in the attic. Had some water issues and after fixing the problem, I hoped this would help with the moister that remained.
After 24 hours in the attic and only a dew drop of water in the reservoir, I moved it to the basement to see how it works. I have a dehumidifier already doing a great job in the basement, removing 2 liters of moister daily. Figured this would be a great test.
After 24 hours running the SD-350 in the basement, with all other equipment turned off, it did nothing for the humidity. The quality of air was terrible and the amount of moister collected in the reservoir was laughable in comparison to what the existing dehumidifier could do. In 24 hours the SD-350 managed to pull 6 oz of water from the basement air! Terrible!
This is not worth the time or money. I honestly can't think of one purpose for this thing. It blows hot air and has no condenser. If you have a cabinet with a moister issue.....fix the leak LOL! This thing is no solution.
This review is from: EVERCOOL SB-RV Ever Lubricate Rocket V system cooler
Pros: It moved plenty of air over my GPU
Cons: It became unstable after a few months. Unbalanced and rattling. I tried adding more grease and cleaning, in an attempt to rebalance...nothing helped it. I believe the center shaft becomes loose, resulting in wable.
Other Thoughts: Dont buy this. It appears, at best, you rent its usefullness for a few months....Then try to return it or toss it in the garbageREAD FULL REVIEW
Pros: The card takes a high overclock! So high Zotac is trying to kill it with their bios!
Cons: The bios is buggy and the software engineers at Zotac have little clue what they are doing. Card comes with default 1150 volt, which actually hurts performance....giving same results as if it were clocked at 900mhz. Artifacts...Pixel and texture loads....and it hits temps near 90c on a 5 fan well ventilated case.
Other Thoughts: 10 months ago I purchased this card. After a month of tinker testing found that a voltage of 1087 shows a 5% increase in performance over zotac default. Of course altering voltage settings voids warranties. Now I would have never had to do this if Zotac supported there product and released a bios update.
Last march there were promises of a bios release to fix these issues but, if you visit their forum page it becomes quite clear they have written off the customers of the 500 series cards. Please do not buy this card unless you want to waste your time void warranties and ultimately watch the card die slowly before a year is up. I personaly will never buy ZOTAC again.
