Silicon Power 1TB Rugged Armor A15 External Hard Drive (Meets Military Drop-test Standards) USB 3.0 Model SP010TBPHDA15S3K Black
  • Verified Owner
  • neweggOwned For: 1 week to 1 month

Pros: Its 1TB, its USB 3.0, it might bounce if dropped, but I don't plan to test that. No complaints. It is being used to back up my media files etc. Works like a charm. Feels sturdy, works as expected.

Cons: None to this point

Corsair Force Series GS 2.5
  • Verified Owner
  • neweggOwned For: 1 week to 1 month

Pros: This thing is bonkers! Win7 loads in a matter of seconds. Totally fun upgrade for those looking to squeak a bit more performance from their systems. Price is actually decent for what it is.

Cons: If you are a tech knowledge level 1 who thinks they are a 5, you should probably avoid this.

Other Thoughts: As other people have already stated, do a little research about SSD and this device before purchasing. Even though prices slowly become more consumer friendly, don't spend the money for money sake. Understand the technology so you can appreciate what you are investing in. Website offers additional tools for those interested.

Hyperkin SNES/NES/Genesis RetroN 3 Gaming Console (Charcoal Gray)
  • Verified Owner
  • neweggOwned For: 1 week to 1 month

Pros: This nifty little unit plays three different game carts. Gotta admit thats pretty neat. Immediately reduced the amount of retro game units (and plugs). Worked well with all my old carts.

Cons: The wireless controllers hold something to be desired. Not the best range. I would certainly recommend just plugging in the retro controllers.

Other Thoughts: I'd recommend it if you want to revisit your retro game carts, but don't want several consoles all plugged in at once.
