Pros: small, inexpensive and well made; can read both SD and micro-SD cards; reads my Patriot and Adata UHS-I SDHC cards at 85-95 MB/s sequential and writes at 45-65 MB/s sequential; these speeds are on par with my SIIG USB 3 reader which cost me $25
Cons: gets quite warm during use
Other Thoughts: People who report that this reader only runs at USB 2.0 speed probably were using slower cards (Class 10 is only certified at 10MB/s)--the reader is obviously limited by the flash card itself. Very few SD cards on the market are rated higher than 90/60 MB/s and they are quite expensiveREAD FULL REVIEW
Pros: Even though this is the regular OC instead of the Top edition, it overclocks quite well. Got my GPU clock offset at 182+ (boosts to 1293 in game), memory at 500+ (7000 effective) at default power target and fan on auto (stays below 70 C). Didn't even have to unlock the voltage.
Cons: Price--now that GTX 770's have come down to low $300's.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Good material/construction at such a low price; the refurbished unit appears new; pretty snappy performance for basic computing (web surfing, document, etc); pretty cool and quiet; light for a 15" laptop; click pad works well; decent speakers
Cons: Not Asus's fault, but Win 8 sucks bad--I reverted to W7; upgrading is a little more time-consumingt (you have to remove the keyboar/mouse pad panel to gain access to the HDD (I upgraded to a SSD); only 1 RAM slot (also difficult to access); could use one more USB port; no Recovery Disc creation software installed.READ FULL REVIEW
