This review is from: Rosewill RNX-EasyN4 IEEE 802.11b/g/n Wireless-N 2.0 Broadband Router (2T2R) Up to 300Mbps Data Rates/ WPA Personal and Enterprise, WPA2, 64 & 128 bit WEP, PSK, TKIP, AES, WPS Security with 2 dBi Antenna x2
Pros: Wireless-N for $30! I bought 2, set the second one up as a repeater and I have 95-100% signal strength for Netflix upstairs. Took about 10 minutes and I have 260mbps instead of 130 from the old SMC.
Cons: Just a minor one, it's so small and light, a slight tug on a cord and it's flying. Do yourself a favor and mount it on the wall or velcro it down if it needs to be on a shelf (or under it).
Other Thoughts: Replaces an SMC Wireless-N that went loopy. On top of the low price, got 2 free USB Wireless-N adapters, ya can't beat it with a stick.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Scan quality is very close to dedicated film scanners at a fraction of the cost.
Cons: Slide holder is a flimsy piece of junk, i've broken off one holder tab and some of the others are looking shaky. Looking for an aftermarket replacement. I hope that the folks over at betterscanning or others can come out with a decent replacement.
Other Thoughts: DO YOURSELF A FAVOR - buy a copy of vuescan from Hamrick Software before embarking on any kind of serious scanning. You'll thank yourself!READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: I bought this scanner specifically to scan about 15,000 slides and as a film scanner works brilliantly, but...
Cons: The thin hold-down clips on the film holders are a joke. After about 1,500 slides, I've already broken one of them and others are getting ready to go. At this rate, I'll need to buy 9 more holders, or enough to buy another scanner. I'm gonna try convincing Epson that this the holder should be replaced under warranty.READ FULL REVIEW
