Great Product!

KOOLANCE GPU-180-L06 GPU Water Cooling Block
KOOLANCE GPU-180-L06 GPU Water Cooling Block

Comments: I had to write a review for this one. I have it paired up with a CPU-300 and my Koolance EXOS-AL system. It is now securly mounted on my Radeon 9800 Pro at a solid 450MHz core. My prior GPU cooler (Zalman aluminum) obviously did not do the job quite as well, as the core would only run around 435MHz artifact-free. So, for forty a pop, this isn't a bad little waterblock. I am willing to bet it would best most air coolers on a CPU let alone GPU! I was also able to overclock the memory 5MHz Higher as well, I would attribute this to the entire graphics card board being cooler due to the greater heat absorbtion of this block. Good deal folks, if you have the cash, I'd have to recommend this. 5 stars.

After A Year

YAMAHA RX-V373BL 5.1-Channel AV Receiver
YAMAHA RX-V373BL 5.1-Channel AV Receiver

Pros: Expense to feature ratio is pretty good

Cons: I've seen this issue on at least one other review here, so it must be a common issue with this receiver. The receiver stops recognizing HDMI Input and requires reset back to factory defaults, reboot and then you're back in business. RX-V373 Reset receiver to factory settings can be found at Yamaha's website here: http://faq.yamaha.com/us/en/article/audio-visual/av-receivers-amps/rx/rx-v373_black_u/10254/7051/

Overall Review: I won't purchase another Yamaha product due to this frustration. Plus, this occurred for the first time one month after my year warranty expired. First Sony, now this...who should I try next?

One word: "Wow"

XFX PVT70FUNDE GeForce 7800GTX 256MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 SLI Supported Video Card

Comments: I mean, how else can you describe it? As of this date, this is the fastest, vendor-condoned video card out there...490Mhz default core? This beats the BFG OC and comes with BF2 to boot...needless to say after reviewing everything else out there...I ordered this today!

Realistic Overclocking Review

AMD Mobile Athlon XP-M 2600+ Barton 2.0 GHz 512KB L2 Cache Socket A Single-Core AXMG2600FQQ4C Processor
AMD Mobile Athlon XP-M 2600+ Barton 2.0 GHz 512KB L2 Cache Socket A Single-Core AXMG2600FQQ4C Processor

Comments: Folks, the majority of these 2600+ XP Mobiles are yielding around 2.65 Ghz stable for those that can utilize around 1.85~1.95 Vcore on their motherboards. These "average" speeds are generally not stable with conventional air cooling, but with water cooling. The majority of users with air cooling are yielding around 2.5~2.55 Ghz. That being said, I have three of these, ordered from the almighty Newegg.com (thank you as always to this fine reseller) that will all "boot" into windows @ 2.75-2.8 using 2.3Vcore on my Abit NF7-S Rev 2.0 board w/Koolance EXOX-AL & the CPU-300 waterblock but are FAR from being stable. I have "settled" (and this is after much fine tuning, rigorous testing (Hot CPU, MEM-test, 3DMark 2001, Super-Pi, Prime 95 et al) over the past 48 hours with the best of these three chips passing flawlessly @ 2.65 GHz using 1.95 Vcore. Now those of you looking to purchase this chip can take this with a grain of salt, but I wouldn't go banking on "2.7" stable with air posts. I have several close enthusiast bud's that I speak with on a regular basis, they'll tend to agree with my sentiment here. If you have a phase-change system or LN2 cooling, you'll easily do it, but if you have air cooling (I tried my SLK800 w/80 delta for a good solid 2.55 @1.9 vcore) look to settle around 2.5 or so realistically. Happy OC'ing folks :) hifi

Good bang for the buck

Comments: These have worked fine in my Lite-On 851S @4X. Great value. Will order again.

Great version of ATI's Radeon 9800 Pro series cards

Comments: I am not really fond of Gigabytes customer service based upon feedback I have recieved from friends dealing with the company. That being said, I am here to rate the card as I received it and it's performance. I am giving it a 5-star rating simply due to the fact that I have not had any issues and it is giving/has given me steller performance. It runs Unreal II and UT2003 at 1280X1024 with 4XAA and 16XFSAA enabled, sweet! I had a bit of gamma trouble with Battlefied 1842, however a simple re-install of the game fixed this issue. The only major problem I had during the install was that the VIA KT400 board I have (Soyo Dragon KT400 Ultra Plat.) doesn't like AGP 8X, this also was an issue with my Nvidia TI-4200 8X AGP card so I already figured I would have to adjust that setting. I moved it down to 4X AGP and haven't had any issues since. ***NOTE: this very well may be a generall issue for Via chipsets and AGP 8X because my card operated perfectly in a Asus A7N8X (Nforce-2) deluxe board a friend of mine owns. At any rate, you folks that may experiance any flickering issues etc. on a M/B sporting a via chipset might want to move the AGP transfer rate down from 8X to 4X, it certainly fixed the issue for me.
