Pros: Inexpensive - I got mine for 85 bucks a pair
8GB is probably all anyone really needs
XMP timings work as advertised with two sticks in the motherboard
Attractive classic Hyper X aesthetics
Cons: XMP timings become unstable with four sticks in the motherboard
1.65V to run at 1600mhz - not very efficient so they probably create a good bit of heat.
Other Thoughts: I picked up one pair of these as part of my computer build as I don't really need or want to pay for expensive overclocked RAM. And it worked fine without an issue as I used the included Intel XMP to deal with the RAM for me. It was a bit dissapointing though that I needed to set the RAM to 1.65v instead of 1.5v and for someone concerned over efficiency and low heat and long lifetimes you might want to consider something else. But yeah, for 8GB it worked perfectly well enough.
I then added a second matched pair in the other set of DIMMs in my MSI Z87 G45 motherboard and from there I had a lot of headaches dealing with this RAM... a lot of crashes and failed boots basically. I ended up dropping the timing back to stock (1600mhz / 11-11-11-28 CR2 @ 1.65v ) and so far I've been stable but it's a bit sad to not be able to use the 9-9-9 timings.
SO far testing on AIDA64 my DIMM voltages have fluctuated between 1.648v and 1.664v with an average at 1.654v - I hope that's within reason. Just hope nothing goes bad in the future at these high-ish voltages

Pros: The only reason I bought this was because a local store didn't have the Asus one in stock.
Cons: - DOA
- Does not fit well into USB slot and requires ridiculous force
- firmware won't even install unless it's in there, but since it won't get recognized, it's a waste of time
- ridiculously slippery. I wasted half an hour trying to take it out of my USB slot.
Other Thoughts: Returning it. I almost feel like I should be compensated for the amount of hassle this product gave me.READ FULL REVIEW
