Logitech Internet 350 Black 104 Normal Keys 8 Function Keys USB Wired Standard Keyboard
Logitech Internet 350 Black 104 Normal Keys 8 Function Keys USB Wired Standard Keyboard

Pros: Keys have a great feel to them. Two Windows keys (I like to be able to press Windows + Pause/Break with one hand to bring up the System Properties). Nice rubber stoppers on the bottom front edge prevent the keyboard from slipping around. Perfect gaming and typing angle when back feet are deployed. Shortcut keys on the top are only what you need, and function without installing any third-party software. They're also nigh-impossible to press accidentally, yet still easily accessible. Keys don't wobble around; very easy to barely reach that escape key without it catching on the sides. Works flawlessly on both my XboX 360 and PS3. Works perfectly on a Mac. Very hardy; I've owned one for 2 1/2 years and only just replaced it because my girlfriend spilled an entire glass of Scotch onto it. It was working perfectly up until then.

Cons: Not waterproof... but if I wanted a waterproof keyboard, I'd buy one. Wait, no I wouldn't, because this thing is perfect and easy on the wallet to replace if ever I have another accident.

Overall Review: After the spill, I immediately purchased not one, but three replacements from NewEgg. I keep one in my car for service calls (as a freelance computer technician, I must have a reliable keyboard on hand just in case), and one at my desk for personal use. I gave the third to my FPS-addicted father, simply because I felt BAD for him NOT having experienced this amazingly perfect keyboard. Do yourself a favor -- next time you need a keyboard, or even if you think you may want to replace yours soon, give the Logitech 350 a chance. You'll be glad you did.

Do not buy.

Changhong 42" Class Ultra HD LED TV - UD42YC5500UA
Changhong 42" Class Ultra HD LED TV - UD42YC5500UA

Pros: The motion compensation algorithm is smooth, and fairly quick, but that's about the only good thing about this screen.

Cons: Like many other reviewers have stated, there is a SIGNIFICANT delay on the video processing of this television unit. There is an approximate 1/3 of a second delay between the video source and the display, which not only results in UNUSABILITY from a PC source, but also HORRIBLE response when using everything from a Nintendo® Wii to a Sony® Playstation 3 or 4. Everything else is satisfactory, but this delay makes it IMPOSSIBLE to enjoy this screen for gaming and PC interaction. The creators seem to know this unfortunate truth, and have included in the options menu an "Audio Synchronization Delay" option, which at least makes this display usable with Netflix or other video streaming, DVD, or BluRay sources. To me, this is unacceptable. To most people, it's okay. IF YOU DESIRE TO USE THIS TV WITH GAMING, STAY AWAY.

Overall Review: I want to destroy this display, rather than return or resell it. NOBODY deserves this level of inconsiderate design.

Great Drive

SanDisk Ultra Plus 2.5" 256GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) SDSSDHP-256G-G25

Pros: I get about 400MB per second in sustained transfer rate. Pretty good for the price.

Cons: none

It's pretty great! Could be better!

AMD Athlon 64 X2 5000 - Athlon 64 X2 Brisbane Dual-Core 2.6 GHz Socket AM2 65W Processor - ADO5000DOBOX

Pros: 2.6GHz speed at this price!

Cons: Smallish L2 Cache (2x512KB vs. 2x1MB in my 6000+) Odd clock multiplier (13x) results in unfortunate consequences in RAM speed Forces PC6400 RAM to run at 371MHz / 742MHz DDR when running FSB at stock speeds Have to overclock FSB to 216MHz just to achieve DDR 800MHz speeds for memory

Overall Review: I had to choose between overclocking my motherboard's chipset or running my RAM slower. I chose to run my RAM slower, which is what I'd recommend to whoever uses this CPU, unless you have a motherboard which is capable of stable overclocking. The motherboard I installed this CPU in was a budget motherboard whose chipset was already running hot. So, rather than risk the board, I decided a 7.25% slowdown in memory was an acceptable sacrifice. <sigh...> I only wish AMD would leave the multiplier unlocked on ALL its processors... or maybe improve the memory bus as to where it could utilize an asynchronous clock speed for RAM based on autodetection or manual user intervention. Imagine... you'd be able to just set it to DDR800 and go...

I'm happy

Kingston 2GB (2 x 1GB) DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model KVR800D2K2/2GR

Pros: Incredibly inexpensive; lifetime warranty.

Cons: Kinda slow; no heat spreader (gets pretty warm).

Overall Review: Thought I'd try it. It isn't SO bad, but it only scores a 5.6 on the Memory Operations Per Second test in the Windows Vista Experience Index, whereas my OCZ RAM (OCZ2N800SRC44GK) scores a 5.9 in the same computer.

Fantastic!

hec Raptor500 500 W ATX12V V2.2 SLI Ready Passive PFC Power Supply

Pros: Sturdy construction. Powers everything in my case very well, and doesn't exude much heat. Packaging seems very professional. Survived a 10-hour Prime95 stress test in a cramped, warm desk. I believe that this purchase, my first from hec COMPUCASE, was a successful experiment.

Cons: None!

Overall Review: Powers this computer PERFECTLY: AMD Athlon 64 X2 5000+ (2.6GHz 65W) 2x 1GB PC6400 RAM 500GB Seagate 7200.12 SATA HDD 512MB ATi Radeon HD 3850 PCI Express x16 22x LG DVD±R/RW Drive MSI K9N2GM-FD Motherboard

THIS is how NewEgg Marketplace sellers SHOULD be!

This is my first time ordering from TDT Technology, and it won't be the last! Absolutely perfect on all fronts. I'll explain details: The price was OUTSTANDING. Seller contacted me three days after I placed the order saying that they upgraded my shipping for no reason, for no cost, and asked nothing in return. They just did it to be nice? WOW. Item -- HUH728080ALE604, the best of the Helium Hard Drives, see Backblaze for details -- arrived 5 DAYS EARLY, was well-packaged in a generous amount of bubble wrap, and even SEALED in an anti-static bag. I don't think I've ever gotten a refurbished HDD in a sealed anti-static bag without ordering direct from the manufacturer or NewEgg. Drive S.M.A.R.T. stats were as good as you could hope for in a refurb -- absolutely ZERO issues. The raw values for Read Error Rate, Reallocated Sector Count, Seek Error Rate, Reallocation Event Count, Current Pending Sector Count, and Uncorrectable Sector Count were all ZERO. Power On Hours were substantial (about 3 years), but that's to be expected for a drive that was clearly used in an Enterprise setting -- Power On Count was just 16 times. After copying 6.5TB of backup data to the drive and verifying with SHA-256, there were ZERO errors and the S.M.A.R.T. stats remained the same. I couldn't be happier with the service and the product I received. If I could give these guys 6 eggs, I would. In nearly 20 years of doing business with NewEgg, this is in my top 5 transactions, full stop. Now I'm off to browse whatever other products TDT Technology has on offer, because they've earned my trust 1000%.
