No complaints
Pros: I have burnt over 200 of these and no coasters yet. I am using both a NEC/Sony burner and an HP 940 and both work flawlessly.
Cons: None
Not quite baked yet
Pros: 6 tuners, one box. Network connected so any computer can use it. Great when it works. iPad app to watch TV
Cons: New problems pop up every day and they are not always Microsoft's fault. Tuners don't always release. Sometimes WMC can't find a tuner when it can find a regular clearQAM tuner on my other SD box. Now today, a week after ownership, HDhomerun says that it can't get a channel line up on any computer so this is not a Microsoft issue.
Overall Review: Given the delays in this product, I would assume the reliability to be perfect instead it still seems half-baked and buggy. SD is still rolling out software and firmware patches. According to the forum, there are a couple of issues on the SD bench to be resolved in software updates.
Works great
Pros: Bought another for my house in California. Out of the box, configured in 5 minutes and passing traffic. Works great. PoE.
Cons: Configure over a wire only. Antennas are ugly. Could have a better wall mounting system.
Typical commodity product
Pros: Fast. Easy to set up - sort of. Web GUI makes it a no brained to set up.
Cons: The is another Cisco commodity product. The first one I got was DOA. It would constantly reboot when a client tried to access the network. Cisco confirmed this as a failure and Newegg replace it no questions asked. The second one I received works as expected... No reboots, lock ups, etc. Just set it up and forget about it.
Overall Review: Wireless management disabled out of the box is dumb. You need to manual hook a PC up to it before you connect it to your network. In this day and age, that's a little old school. The web GUI can be a little interesting for a newbie or typical consumer.
Great power supply
Pros: Great power supply. Runs more efficeint than my previous 700W and consumes less power under the same load. Modular cables allow you to plug as you go and tries to keep down the cluter.
Cons: BIG... Had to bend the top USB bracket in my Thermaltake Armor to make clearance to get it in to the PS bay.
Great for the price
Pros: I don't know why so many people are leaving bad reviews on these discs. I have bought over 30 spindles and have had only 4 bad. I think some of you need to go online and learn how to burn discs or stop buying cheap burners.
Cons: Would like to see spindles of 50 or 100 for this product.
