Pros: •Didn't require any setup, simply plug and play.
•Controls are re-mapable
•Works with Vista/7/8/8.1
Cons: •Extension cable is a bit short
Other Thoughts: •Got it on sale during a shell shocker with free Eggsaver shipping. Came overnight since I live an hour away from a distribution center.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: AMD A4-4000 Richland Dual-Core 3.2GHz Socket FM2 65W Desktop Processor AD4000OKHLBOX
Pros: •Not DoA
•Works with my motherboard to update the BIOS for Kaveri
•Overclocks pretty well on the stock cooler (currently running at 3.6GHZ, have had it up to 4.1)
Cons: •Can't manage to get my RAM clocked correctly (DDR3 2400) with this chip. Highest it will go is 1866.
Other Thoughts: Very impressed with how this chip handles overclocking for being a multiplier locked chip.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: •Quality Components
•Included WiFi can be swapped to an mSata SSD if desired.
•Included WiFi works well
•Has room around the socket for a larger CPU cooler than the Gigabyte board.
Cons: •Shipped with BIOS revision 1.40. Version 1.50 is required to run a Kaveri APU which I am intending to do. Had to shell out an extra $55 to buy a Richland chip to update BIOS. Latest BIOS version is 2.10
•Chips on the back of the board. Not really a con for me but could be for some. I am using an H60 so I don't need a backplate.
Other Thoughts: So far this motherboard has worked beyond my expectations and I look forward to what the Kaveri chip can do once it arrives.READ FULL REVIEW
