Pros: Lot's of ways to configure lights. Easy to install. Many other features.
Cons: Light that illuminates light intensity dial stays blue. I am going to black it out with marker, not a deal breaker. Kind of picky with the usb ports -1 egg. I will explain below. The manual is very minimal.
Other Thoughts: I like this product at it's price point, I wanted lights I got lights. If however, you cannot access all the color functions you must try another usb port. To all those out there that can't get the lights to stay one color it is the usb connection. I could not get mine to stay green and went on their web site to see if there were any FAQ ,there were none. I then hit another online retailer who had many reviews and a FAQ area. It was there I found out the solution of changing to a different usb port that would access all the light functions. Once I put it into the new usb everything worked fine.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: RCA ANT800R Outdoor Digital Antenna
Pros: 70 mile range. Yes 70 miles. Easy to set up. It has a signal booster. Easy to hook up and installs a lot of different ways.
Cons: None, see below.
Other Thoughts: This antenna picks up signals in a 70 mile radius. I LIVE ON TOP OF A HILL in he northern Shenandoah Valley. I have it on a 15 foot run of pipe. If you do not have the height It will probably do 35 miles. I pick up every signal from Hagerstown Md. to Harrisonburg Va. I also get Washington DC. stations. Each of these cities is 60 to 70 miles away from me in an East,North, South arc. I cut the Comcast bundle to just internet and save almost 800.00 a year
This is the 2nd one I bought. The 1st one lasted a year and burnt out. Inside there is a signal booster and it must have gotten wet around the cable jack. This time I shot it with silicone and we will see what happens. Even if it lasts a year I will pay 60.00 to save 800.00. I rent so it is not meant to be a permanent solution. I get 3 WHSV signals CBS,ABC, and MeTv. WHAG sends out NBC. I pick up Fox5 Dc., Ion and Ion Life, 4 or 5 Maryland public tv stations, 3or4 Va. public tv stations Qubo, 3 home shopping channels, 2 Latino stations, Grit,Get, The Movie channel,Escape, Buzzer ( I love Match Game 78), and Create. Everything else I need I stream online or thru Roku. However, elevation and length of pipe going up is what allows me to get 70 miles.
This review is from: STEREN BL-215-450BK 50 ft. F-F RG6 Patch Cable
Pros: Long and cheap. Does what cables do.
Other Thoughts: I have this running from a RCA 800 antenna appx. 50 feet out side my house. It was just laying in the grass for the 1st week, now I have it in plastic pvc pipe under ground appx 3 inches. There is very little signal loss. I rent and cut the Comcast TV bundle to just internet. I do not care if the cable lasts more than 2 years as it is not a permanent installation.READ FULL REVIEW
