AFT XM-37U USB 3.0 3.5” Kiosk Card Reader

4 out of 5 eggs USB 3 plug too big 11/12/2012

This review is from: AFT XM-37U USB 3.0 3.5” Kiosk Card Reader

Pros: Looks good. Different colored slots make it very easy to see what you're plugging in. Fast!

Cons: Need to email company to get URL as to where to download WIN 7 driver. USB 3 header plug is too wide. It hits up against my G-Skill memory on ASUS P8Z77-V motherboard. I had to run the 2 cables through a hole in my Corsair 500R case to the USB 3 ports in the rear. So, now I have 2 less USB 3 rear ports!
Also, it's overpriced, unless you can get it at a discount from New Egg.

StarTech BRACKETFDBK 3.5in Hard Drive to 5.25in Front Bay Bracket Adapter

4 out of 5 eggs Does what it's suppose to 10/12/2012

This review is from: StarTech BRACKETFDBK 3.5in Hard Drive to 5.25in Front Bay Bracket Adapter

Pros: Bought locally for $14.99, so NewEgg's price is excellent. Installed an AFT XM-37U card reader and it fit perfectly in the adapter and the adapter fit perfectly in my Corsair 500R case. Front bezel has nice finish and doesn't look bad.

Cons: Would've given it 5 eggs if it was metal!

Acronis True Image Home 2012 - Academic

1 out of 5 eggs Don't waste your money 03/15/2012

This review is from: Acronis True Image Home 2012 - Academic

Pros: Easy to install on PC

Cons: Could not get it to work. Simple 64G SSD clone to 120G. Many failed tries. Good luck trying to get Acronis to help! I waited too long to install, now I can't get a refund.
