Simple, intuitive software.
Cloning from Samsung Data Migration was a breeze. No errors or issues.
Cons: Retail package did not include SATA to USB transfer cable
Samsung Data Migration was not included on the software disk.
Other Thoughts: With an older AM3 MOBO and an Athlon 2600 CPU, the original HDD had sequential read/write speeds of 88/90 MB/s. The 850 Pro clocked in at about 245/227 MB/s; just under half of it's advertised speed. After swapping in an ASUS A88X MOBO and A10-7850k Black Edition APU with the cloned SSD, the sequential read/write skyrocketed to 445/427 MB/s. That's an increase of about 500% of the original HDD, and close enough to the advertised speeds of this SSD for my dad to be very happy! Now I need one to replace my Agility 4, which comes in at 339/190 MB/s.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: AMD FX-6100 3.3GHz Six Core (FD6100WMW6KGU) Desktop PC CPU Socket AM3+ 938-pin
Pros: I bought the retail version of this CPU (form Newegg) back in early 2012. I have had it running at 4.5GHz on air for about 2 years now without a hiccup. It's paired with an ASUS Sabertooth 990FX Gen1 MOBO and 16GB G.Skill Ares 1600Mhz RAM. I believe with a newer MOBO and 2133MHz RAM this chip can perform even better.
Other Thoughts: Thinking about "upgrading" to a newer CPU. Unsure if I want to stick with a newer gen FX-series CPU, or go with the A10-7850K. I want to keep my clock speed around 4.5GHz or so. The FM2+ MOBOs support PCI-E 3.0 and my Sabertooth is limited to 1833MHz RAM, but I'm getting good reliable performance with my current setup......decisions decisions.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: -Fits well inside my case (identical in size to my old card).
-Noticeable improvement in games with settings maxed.
Overall I'm very happy with Sapphire's video cards. This is my 3rd one in a row, and I've been happy with all of them.
Cons: None yet, other than the shipping issue mentioned in my previous review.
Other Thoughts: Have this set up as the primary card Crossfired with a Sapphire 7870XT, however I realized that I do not have any games that the 7950 can't handle on it's own at max settings. I do know that Crysis 3 would make the 7870XT work, but I have not tried it with the 7950, Crossfire enabled.
