This review is from: LOGISYS Computer SF120 120mm Extreme Quiet Rubber Fan
Pros: Very quiet; quieter than other fans with lower noise specifications.
Includes low and high-speed molex adaptors, so you can choose quiet or performance if your MB doesn't include 4-pin fan connetions
Includes rubber fan mounts that are much easier than screws, and help reduce vibration
Cons: Premium price: It's significantly more expensive than most fans of it's size.
Other Thoughts: I purchased this alongside a Scythe Kama fan of the same size (planning one for my case, one for my cpu), which had a slightly lower specified noise level. In practice, THIS fan is by far the quieter one. It also has some great extras, like a second molex adaptor to run the fan at it's minimum speed, a Y-adaptor for connecting two fans to the same 4-pin connector, and rubber mounting brackets that replace the usual screws (just like the ones you'll find on a Thermaltake Frio cpu cooler).
I'm definitely going for this series next time I purchase a case fan.
This review is from: Scythe Kama FLEX PWM 120 SA1225FDB12H-P 120mm Case Fan
Pros: Works with both 3 and 4-pin connections
Includes molex adaptor
Cons: No instructions or specifications sheet included in packaging.
Not much quieter than cheaper models
Other Thoughts: This fan is almost as loud as the bargain-basement models you can get for 2/3 the price. If you're looking for a quiet fan, jump up to the Logisys SF series. You'll pay quite a bit more, but you definitely get your money's worth.READ FULL REVIEW
