Pros: Large heat sink mass. Very well constructed.
Cons: Xigmatek ships this with the wrong size K8/AMD tool-free clip. The arms are too small to make contact on both sides of the K8/AMD retention bracket. This would be awesome on an Intel build, but for some reason Xigmatek knowingly used the wrong clip for AMD. The clip it comes with belongs to the Dark Knight which has a lower clearance between the primary heatsink and the CPU. I really wanted this cooler and will definitely buy one when I build my i7 4790K rig.
Other Thoughts: Its big, twice the mass and volume of the Xigmatek Dark Knight. Should be awesome at pulling heat off your CPU, large mass, seven heat pipes. Why one egg? Cause Xigmatek for some reason felt it necessary to cause AMD owners grief and frustration for no good reason. Why???READ FULL REVIEW
Pushes enough air without being too load
Cons: Can only be exhaust, but that's not really a true CON
Other Thoughts: I like this one because I thought it had the proper balance of airflow and noise suppression. Mine turns around 1,300 - 1,350 RPMs and you can feel the amount of flow. Its adequate to ventilate my 125 WATT CPU, 180 WATT GPU system.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: ASUS RP-N53 Dual-Band Wireless-N600 Range Extender
Pros: Bought this is augment my ASUS RT-N65R router. My 5Ghz signal was really weak at the far end of the house having to pass through a floor and two walls. I named the SSIDs the same as my RT-N65U and the receiver picks the best signal. Went from barely a bar (20Mbs) to four bars (144Mbs). Farthest smart TV would routinely lose signal, but the RP-53 has remedied that.
Cons: couldn't get the setup to work using the Ethernet port. Had to just use the web route. Menu setup was initially slow to respond, but after firmware update, it sped up.
Other Thoughts: I had to place it in direct line of sight for it to register full signal strength. Could only get 3 of 4 bars on front panel going around a corner (distance was ~35 feet). I happy with the performance.READ FULL REVIEW
