Rosewill RA-VGA-DVI-D 25pin (24+1) DVI-D Male to 15pin VGA Female Adapter
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: 1 month to 1 year

Pros: Works like it should

Cons: none so far

Other Thoughts: Since I'm not into electrical engineering (or something to that effect), I cannot appreciate the work that has been required to produce this adapter.

And as always, thank you to the reviewers at Newegg and at countless other tech forums.

AMD Gift - Dirt3 Game Coupon
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: 1 month to 1 year

5 out of 5 eggs Nothing to say here 03/09/2012

This review is from: AMD Gift - Dirt3 Game Coupon

Pros: free - that's a good price

Cons: subliminal advertising exposure for Codemasters?

Other Thoughts: Received this with the XFX Radeon HD 6870 Double Dissipation. Linked it up with my Steam account, and played a little before returning to my other games (such as Battlefield 3 and Mafia 2). Racing games aren't really my type.

And as always, thank you to the reviewers at Newegg and at countless other tech forums.

MEElectronics HT-21 Portable On-Ear Headphones (2nd Generation)
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: 1 month to 1 year

3 out of 5 eggs A regretted buy 03/09/2012

This review is from: MEElectronics HT-21 Portable On-Ear Headphones (2nd Generation)

Pros: - Portability (they fold up nicely)
- Low-profile

Cons: - even though they fold up, they do not stay that way. I would have to jam them into the included storage bag.
- somewhat flimsy construction, headband is too thin
- earcups a little too firmly padded, hurt ears after a while
- MEElec logo on earcups scratches off easily

Other Thoughts: While I am not an audiophile, I do collect as many budget head- and earphones as I can. These HT-21 headphones do not do the good name of MEElectronics justice, as I can definitely recommend their M9 earphones, as well as their customer service (my pair of M9 broke, replacement sent immediately upon reception of sent-in broken earphones)
As for the category of on-ear headphones, I definitely prefer the Philips "The Snug" on-ears to these ones. Bass on the Philips' is much better than the HT-21, and construction feels much more sturdy.

And as always, thank you to the reviewers at Newegg and at countless other tech forums
