Very Good Monitor
Pros: Great display. Vibrant colors.
Cons: None really
Overall Review: I got this monitor because I had a HannsG 19" monitor for a couple of years and it's still going strong but I wanted something larger. The monitor worked great right out of the box although I eventually tweaked the display a bit. After about 2 weeks of use, a stuck pixle appeared almost in the center of the screen. I used a stylus from an old PDA and gently pressed and rubbed the offending pixle and managed to unstick it. Since then the monitor has been great although now that i'm used to the 25" display, I kinda wish I would have gotten the 28" monitor but for the $199 plus free shipping, it was an offer I couldn't resist.
Candidate for junk box
Pros: Egronomics are good. Volume control.
Cons: Muffled voice even when amplified. Othere have difficulty hearing me.
Overall Review: The sound quality for both me (the user) and those i'm calling is terrible. I have to keep asking people to repeat themselves. This was cheap enough that I won't bother returning it to newegg. Others have said the sound quality was good so maybe I just got a bad one. In any event I've gone back to using my trusty 6 year old Radio Shack headset which works great after all these years. I just wanted to try a headset with a volume control.
Difficult to set up and use
Pros: I guess it would work if I could figure out how to set it up
Cons: As usual, woeful instructions where the illustrations are completely different than what is actually displayed. Tech support is non-existent. The one egg is for no tech support and a pretty much unusable instruction manual.
Overall Review: Admittedly, my knowledge of wireless setups is lacking, so if anyone is really proficient with access points, bridges, repeaters, etc. they might find this product to be acceptable, and anyone thusly proficient probably won't need the provided instructions. I don't plan on returning this product since I hope someday I might be able to figure out if it works... or doesn't.
Great Product
Pros: Does exactly what it's supposed to SSD goes in smoothly
Cons: None really. SATA III support would have been nice, see other thoughts.
Overall Review: I ordered this 4 days ago and installed it today. Regarding others that say the activity light doesn't work, I did nothing unusual just hooked it up and the activity light works fine. I also noticed this device is now out of stock, but I doubt it will be restocked because Newegg has a newer version of it "SY-MRA25033" that supports SATA III. I'm very satisfied with this device and as usual, Newegg rocks.
Outstanding
Pros: Good Board Layout Very sturdy Lots of ports for pretty much everything Looks great
Cons: None
Overall Review: When they work, they’re outstanding. It’s always somewhat of an adventure putting one of these systems together wondering if they’ll work as advertised. With PC components it’s become something of a crapshoot with anywhere from 10% to 30% defect rates depending on the product or manufacturer and I think product reviews will validate this. I got lucky with my Z87 PRO board. I stuck a 4770k CPU in it and used 8g of corsair DDR3 2133 memory and a Corsair 750w power supply, with SSD drives in a raid 1 configuration. It started right up and booted up (Windows 7 64bit) so fast I initially thought something was wrong (my first build using SSD’s). Like I said, when it works as advertised right out of the box, this motherboard is absolutely outstanding.
Excellent, so far.
Pros: Lots of power, installs easily, plenty of cables, runs quietly.
Cons: None.
Overall Review: What’s to say? I ordered this power supply and installed it and it does exactly what it’s supposed to do, and it does it quietly. This power supply replaced a Sunbeam COM680 purchased at Newegg for a price of around $70 that lasted a bit over 2 years. When I got that power supply I was a bit disappointed at its light weight but for that price, 2 years was about all that could be expected. This time I decided to order a better power supply and so far, I’m not disappointed at all. Only time will tell how long the Corsair will last, but so far, so good. Warning, since both power supplies were modular I thought I could keep the modular cords from the Sunbeam and just connect them to the Corsair. This can’t be done because for some reason, the Corsair kept tripping its internal breaker. You need to use the Corsair supplied cables.
Needs to be responsive
Product was as expected and delivered in a timely manner. Pleased with the product, price, and the quick delivery. However, seller was completely unresponsive to email inquiries. A little customer care would have garnered 5 eggs.
Bad Service
Seller is completely inaccessible. Sent me the wrong product and is completely unresponsive. I will never buy anything from this seller again and an unhappy with Newegg's response. The seller is undeserving of even one egg. Beware.
