This review is from: ARRIS SURFboard SB6141 8x4 DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem
Pros: Works very well with a Comcast connection. Mbps rates were about 10% faster than the stock Comcast modem provided. Easy setup. Took less than 10 minutes from out of the box to up and running.
Cons: White? Really? There are NO computer components or peripherals that are white. Looks really goofy sitting on the computer desk with everything else being black. Also the lights are excessively bright. I ended up putting a strip of black electrical tape over the front so it wouldn't light up my office like a disco. Would have been 5 eggs if it weren't for the white cabinet and bright lights.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Very compact and stylish. Robust and easy to use interface. Installation was a snap - took all of 10 minutes if that. Great coverage. In my 3 bedroom house I get rock solid, 5-bar signal no matter where I move to.
Cons: Concerned about the VERY tiny power plug. If the unit accidentally falls off my desk, I can see that breaking easily.
Other Thoughts: Only had it for a few days - if anything comes up, I'll update. But for now, I'm very pleased with the router.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Beautifully designed card that hits all cylinders in every category - size, temperature, energy, noise and performance. Was running two GTX 460's in SLI and this card blows them away. The game "Rise of Flight" has a video settings menu that let's you know a percentage of video card usage. With my SLI set-up I had to reduce several settings to get it below 100% usage. With this new MSI N660 Ti? With all settings maxed out, card usage is at 53%. Toss in the Borderlands 2 game with purchase and this is a no-brainer.
Other Thoughts: Very impressed with how quiet this is. Playing the most graphic intensive games - Civilization V, Rise of Flight, Mass Effect 3, etc., I can BARELY discern a rise of fan noise over idle. You literally have to lean close to the PC case and try and hear an increase.READ FULL REVIEW
