Pros: Cool color and outside design(but I am a girl that likes purple), fairly lightweight, holds a charge decently well although I am never far from my charger.
I only use it for schoolwork and it works well enough for that. I did play FFXIV beta on it once weekend and was only able to manage simple things like fishing, but I didn't buy it to game on anyways, I just got bored at work during a beta weekend and wanted to see if it would even load. It did, on low laptop settings. I use my desktop PC for gaming.
Cons: Worst touchpad I have ever experienced in a laptop. And I've owned a few. Specifically, the left click/right click buttons. They're constantly registering that I'm clicking something when I'm not, or they don't register clicks at all. They also like to click and drag things randomly. I hate having to use a usb mouse with my laptops because it's an extra thing to carry around, but with this one it's almost a necessity.
I hate Windows 8. That's all I have to say about that.
No backlit keys, which I had before, and I knew this one didn't have them, however, now that I don't have them anymore I miss them badly.
Other Thoughts: I've had this thing for almost a year and I'm only writing a review now because it's gotten to the point where, once again, with my tax money, I'm going to be getting a new laptop. This one was a decent enough price at the time, and I guess I got what I paid for. The touchpad alone makes me want to smash it and never look back.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Quieter than my last card. Fit into my case nicely, though, be aware, it is large and might be a tight fit. Easy install. Running benchmarks it only ran up to 82C which is pretty low considering the stress it was being put under. Ran everything I threw at it beautifully.
Cons: "Ran everything I threw at it beautifully" for about 15 minutes. I am currently waiting on my replacement from EVGA as it crashed my entire computer after I played 15-20 minutes for no apparent reason. Spent two days on and off with customer support(which were very nice, helpful, and spoke great English), and finally decided that the card was bjorked. Will update when I get the new card and hope this one works :)
Other Thoughts: My first EVGA product and it doesn't work. That being said they had great customer service. Sadly, I had cut the UPC code off my box to send in for the rebate before I found out I had the issue so Newegg would not accept it as a refund or replacement. That's okay, EVGA did honor it and sent a pre-paid postage stamp to get things started.READ FULL REVIEW
