Pros: Fast and cheap with decent timings. Looks are average with a good, solid heat spreader.
Cons: After about 6 months I started getting BSoD's to the point machine was inoperable. Troubleshooted down until I confirmed it was a bad stick using both Windows memory tester and memtest86. Odd how it just went bad out of the blue on me after working for a few months fine. Voltages and timings never were changed from default other than to load XMP profile.
Other Thoughts: GSkill Usually makes great products. I probably just had a bad experience with his particular run. I'll have to check if I can RMA these since I bought them on 9/3/2015.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Fast when it was working.
Cons: After about a year of intermittent working (would not always register on boot) it finally got a Kernel inpage error and never worked again. Of course this started after 30 days. Was only used for OS with paging and libraries moved off to a separate sshd. Tried everything to get it to work again. Changed cables. Different PSU. Several wipes/resets. Nothing fixed issue.
Other Thoughts: I paid more than the current price but even still with new price can't honestly recommend something that only lasts a year.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: One of the best value and best performing, air coolers out there. Comes with all the hardware you need to install and components all line up correctly and attach smoothly. Looks good sitting there.
Cons: Instructions are a bit unclear. Recommend going on youtube and watching an installation or two. Size can be an issue for both case and motherboard memory placement..
*After around 8 months of use, in a show machine that is cleaned and maintained regularly, the 120 mm fan started making a loud rattling noise which apparently happens alot. Replaced with a Noctua NF-F12, but a bit disappointed that a company I usually trust let me down with a know issue from several revisions of this cooler. You lose a lot of value when you should replace the fan at purchase.
Other Thoughts: Great setup but be prepared with a spare/extra 120mm fan and check room on motherboard for memory clearance and inside case for cooler height.READ FULL REVIEW
