Pros: -Graphics run on high settings and looks great on modern games like Skyrim, Tomb Raider and DayZ
-Can mine coins at around 300Kh/s
-Reasonable price with rebate (check is supposed to be sent, not some stupid debit card)
Cons: -The fan makes an irritating rattling noise. It seems loose, lubricating helps a little. Pressing on the center makes it silent but doesn't solve the problem.
-Getting a lot of artifacts, even on the desktop! Did some research and found out that it is a common problem with the 7850. Browsing Firefox also causes artifacts, but Chrome works fine. Consensus says that it may be a driver issue. There are still artifacts even with the latest drivers installed directly from AMD's website. I am using stock settings without any overclocking.
-PowerColor's support page is just a list of FAQs. Support seems non-existant. Attempting to contact them directly about the fan issue.
Other Thoughts: The fan noise and artifacts left a feeling of disappointment for what could have been the best bang for the buck graphics card.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: XIGMATEK Gaia SD1283 120mm Long Life Bearing CPU Cooler LGA1150 Haswell Compatible
Pros: -120mm fan is quiet
-Heat pipes directly contact with CPU
-Cheap during Black Friday
Cons: -I couldn't configure the heatsink the way I wanted on the motherboard. Fits only one way where the exhaust goes towards rear of case. I wanted to direct the exhaust upwards towards top of the case. Not sure if it's due to the motherboard or heatsink design
-Anti-vibration rubber was frustrating to install. Was close to tearing one apart. Instructions weren't clear about it either
-The fan obstructs a ram slot for performance RAM. I had to insert the ram in a slanted position and I'm worried something may break over time due to that. I am using Corsair Vengeance memory with tall heat spreaders. However, I think it would've been fine if I had used standard RAM with low profile heat spreaders
Other Thoughts: Good CPU coolerREAD FULL REVIEW
This review is from: NZXT Sentry-2 5.25" Touch Screen Fan Controller
Pros: -Cool looking LCD, displays temperature
-Automatic fan control feature not commonly found in others. No need to keep constant eye on temps during intensive CPU/GPU processes
-Comes with temperature probes for each fan. This allows more accurate temperature control by increasing fan speed in hotter areas
-Has both 3-pin and molex connectors for the fans (is also a con)
-Controls up to 5 fans
Cons: -Having both 3-pin and Molex connectors creates more cable management mess. It would be nice to be able to select which connector to use similar to power supply modular connections and keep unused cables out.
-LCD is not capacitive touch screen, it is resistive
-Cannot select fan number when directly pressing on numbers, must press fan icon repeatedly to select fan number. It can be more intuitive and it feels like the touchscreen isn't being maximized throughout the entire LCD surface area
Other Thoughts: The NZXT Sentry-2 is an excellent product that will assist your computer to stay well within ideal operating temperatures.READ FULL REVIEW
