Pros: Cams are very small and made of metal, I expected plastic and was pleasantly surprised
Super simple to set up.
The App is great and has more functionality than expected.
Night vision works great
Cons: As the sun moves and casts shadows, there are limits on the system's ability to self-adjust to the change in brightness. So you can have half the screen look normal, but the other half very very dark.
To counter the potential issues with dynamic lighting, I made sure to have a little redundancy so that other cameras can cover from opposite angles . I was not planning on using all 8 cameras, but after adjusting for this, I ended up using them all.
"Only" 2TB support. I would think it would be simple to have a firmware update to support 6tb. I have heard of people putting in more than 2tb, but I will not buy a new drive until I talk to their tech support to ensure I'm not wasting $
Other Thoughts: Cabling included is not as crummy as I expected. Its thin, but then again, it does not have all the wires in it that networking cable has.
The cable wrap is what makes them feel so cheep and, granted, they are cheep, but after running the lines through stucco and throughout the attic space, I've yet to experience a problem.
If you take the time to run the lines properly and not just yank them through a rough hole when rushing the project, everything should be fine.

This review is from: Mad Catz R.A.T.9 Gaming Mouse for PC and Mac - Red
Pros: The adjustments you can make (physically) are really nice.
Never thought the delay of my old wireless Logitech mx mouse was bad, but after using this thing, there is a huge improvement in the responsiveness when playing FPS
Cons: Same issue that a lot of people have with connectivity.
A) you have to remember to flip the switch on the mouse to OFF when you change the battery or the connection is done untill u unplug from tower.
B) When the computer goes into sleep mode, sometimes when it wakes up, you have to unplug and replug in the base.
not a huge deal, but worth an egg for a 150$ mouse
Other Thoughts: worthy upgrade if you have the $
I don't have a complaint with the battery life many people talk bad on. It really not all that bad since it comes w/ an extra battery.
