This review is from: C2G 02717 6 ft. Economy HD15 SVGA M/F Monitor Extension Cable
Pros: Low price
Cons: Cheap construction
Other Thoughts: I bought this cable to extend a 6-foot cable, for a total length of 12 feet. While the cable fits and technically works, there is a problem. With this cable attached, my monitor looks "watery". With a different cable attached, it looks fine.
I didn't notice until too late, but this cable doesn't have ferrite beads. So the cable is more susceptible to electrical interference. So now I have to replace it with a better one.
This review is from: KINGWIN KF-1000-BK 3.5" Internal hot swap rack
Pros: It's simple and straightforward; no trays to mess with, no noisy little fans to clog with dust, etc. Just stick a hard drive in it and shut the door. I like that.
Cons: When I plugged the power cord (4-pin Molex) into my computer power supply, one of the wires came out of the connector. I re-inserted the wire, and it's been fine since. But I subtracted a star for that.
Other Thoughts: I bought this to use with the backup hard drive in my desktop computer. When the backup drive isn't in use, I remove it and stick it in an anti-static bag. This saves wear and tear on the hard drive. And it doesn't add more wire/cable clutter, like an external drive case does.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Fits my Radeon HD 7870, cools better than stock, less noise than stock.
Cons: If you have a narrow computer case, there may not be enough room for it. The heat pipe unit sticks out about an inch from the side of the video card. But for most people, this isn't an issue.
Other Thoughts: I used the Accelero S1 with a pair of Arctic Cooling 80mm PWM fans (purchased separately) to cool my Radeon HD 7870. Temperatures dropped by 10C degrees at idle, and 25C degrees at full load. Plus, it's quieter than the stock video cooler. That's what you call a win-win!READ FULL REVIEW
