Pros: Switched back to AMD after years of Intel chips. I was worried at first but very please now. Didnt even bother with the stock cooler instead put on a Cooler Master T4 single fan on Asus Crosshair Formula Z 990FX mobo. It ran about 38C at idle and about 10 degrees hotter gaming. Popped on another fan and used Asus OC utility and its sitting at 4.2ghz for now. Idles at 33C and after hours of gaming still hasnt passed 45C. Ran multiple BurnIn tests for processor max temp and it wont pass 51C. I can probably push a little higher before I need a liquid cooler. Im pretty sure with the right set up this could easily compete with the 8350. Value ratio was the deciding factor on buying this CPU.
Cons: Power hungry at 124W. AMD needs to dial it down.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: This thing has very nice sleeves on the cables and the length of them are great for the Cooler Master 690 Advance case. Double check full size towers first before you by. The cables are wrapped near connectors to ensure strength but does it make them a little hard to turn in tight spots. Overall less than an hour to rewire the entire case neat and clean. Not one problem with power failures or random drops.
Good rail amp for higher end single cards.

Pros: The look of this board is one of the best around. The red led's and color matches many other components out there. BIOS GUI was easy to navigate and set up. Tons of connectors for fans and seem to be well placed. Running 3 x 140mm case fans, 120mm rear and push pull cooler with 2 x120mm fans. Installation was easy since the I/O panel fits and lines up spot on. Updating the BIOS and drivers was extremely easy with ROG connector. Solid feel and looks to be well built but should be expected from ASUS.
Cons: Vendor list for qualified memory could have a little more choice.
