5 out of 5 eggs Great Little Case! 05/26/2015

This review is from: Xigmatek Eris EN6305 Black Steel / Plastic Mini-ITX Tower Computer Case

Pros: Small, but fits big graphics cards. Would make a great cost effective SFF/ITX gaming case. Super small dimentions for being able to fit an ATX* PSU and a 300mm (~11.8in) long graphics card.

Cons: Power supply size! You have to be careful with this one. I had an extra 450w gold rated semi modular PSU sitting around that I was going to throw in. It is a little over 1/2" too long.
Noticing that modular versions of popular PSUs are actually a bit longer to accommodate the plugs a the back, which messes up the size. Luckily this case takes SFX (comes with adapter) sized power supplies as well.
For an ATX PSU, look for overall length around 5.5" and you should be fine.

Other Thoughts: Read the capacities, not many HDD locations, but keeping the overall footprint so compact is worth it. (under .5cu ft volume, impressive!)

Was on a great sale, plus had some newegg points from a previous purchase, so I got this for almost nothing. Would pay the sale price again no questions asked, great small case!
Would build into the following:
ITX Motherboard with lower voltage CPU (T or S Core i series or Kaveri APU)
GTX 750 Ti/GTX 960/R9 285/R9 270x
256GB + SSD
350-500w PSU (SFX or correct length ATX)
Extra fans for cooling (a couple 120s for the top)

5 out of 5 eggs Awesome Bag 02/02/2015

This review is from: Timbuk2 Finder Messenger Carbon/Carbon/Carbon 452-2-2196 up to 13"

Pros: Great size, I'm 6'4" and wouldn't call this bag small. Non Apple person, but can fit my 11" Inspiron in the removable laptop sleeve, thin folder for school work, with room for a thin Android tablet also. Lots of little holding areas for small stuff.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Got this bag on a super sale! Using as a work/school bag. I work in IT and am going to school for IT.
Normal days list
11" Inspiron 3137 + charger
Network+ Textbook by Mike Meyers
Folder with work/papers
14000mah external battery + cable
Couple CAT5e cables

With a good bit of room to spare! Should work nicely as a personal item on flights/travel, remove textbook and you'd have a bunch of space for other stuff!

5 out of 5 eggs Great little SSD 01/05/2015

This review is from: Patriot Blaze 2.5" 60GB SATA III Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)

Pros: Used this little guy in my parents HTPC as a boot/OS drive. With a admitted slower CPU (A4-3400) system still able to boot into Windows 7 in around 30 sec from button press. (Windows 8.1 would boot about 50% faster)

Cons: None for the price.

Other Thoughts: Got it on sale, cheapest ~60GB SSD at the time, while being nowhere near the slowest.
