Pros: Upgraded from a HD 6870 and I could not be happier. It is very quiet under full load, temp only got to 75 C while running 3dMark and only gets to 77 C running FurMark 15 minute Burn-in test. Idle is at 33 C. It is smoking fast compared to my HD 6870.
Cons: None, except I wish I had PCIe 3.0...someday...
Other Thoughts: System specs: i5 2500k @ 4.5 GHz
16 G 2133 DDR3
Biostar TZ68A+ 68Z MB w/only PCIe 2.0
I do wonder how much better this would score on 3dMark with a motherboard and CPU that support PCIe 3.0?
Pros: Very bright when turned on and seamlessly transitions to fluorescence.
Cons: Started flickering and then just when out all together in just 6 months!READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: No issues at all, only took a few hours to gut my old computer and configure the new parts in the old case and install Windows 7. 7.4 WEI score with Pentium G3258 (OC to 4 GHz), Samsung EVO 840 120, 8 GB 1600 DDR3 and my old AMD HD 4850. For a HTPC his is total overkill, but I love it! Another big plus for me was all the fan headers, 5 in all.
